Faizi and Sanju ke scenes mein action-reactions dono dikhaye hain unhone, and that was visible too as friend, and continues to be there in their scenes whenever it comes, but it's not the same case in Monami, you can consider it the way you wants, the attraction which he has for her was not in a continuous flow kahi dikh jata tha, toh kahi bilkul hi nahi dikhta tha, even after having so many scenes every episode, the continuity was missing.
Uske feelings toh kya uske actions bhi nahi dikha he has those feelings for her, Karan ko kabhi itna farak hi nahi pada apne aap, usse sirf tab farak padta huya dikhaya gaya jab koi uske saamne 5-6 baar ek hi baat ko repeat karta tha, and you can't say it ki usne woh apni marzi se kiya tha, he mostly acted under pressure with her, chahe woh gift wali baat ho, colorful sling pehenne wali, kisi bhi ke liye karta wali baat ho, gana gana ho, dance karna ho, their friendship, or his love realisation, har baar kisi ne usko baar-baar toka isiliye usne kiya, usne kab khud se kiya...
Just a few points that we missed:
1. He came to new year party willingly, nobody forced him to come, and there also he was missing Monu & seeing her everywhere, he was disappointed to know from Sid that she isn't in party
2. Faizi starting se hi usko Monu ke liye tease karta tha, 'sundar, pretty kanya', 'engagement tudwa de', 'Monami ke liye janab picnic par aa gaye' but he didn't let all that affect him then
3. Dream sequence 1 hi kaafi tha, Karan is sharp & smart, usko kuchh samajh aa jayega toh either he will do something about it or else he will ignore it if he doesn't want to get involved or if that thing is not important for him, aur koi beech ka raasta nahi hai, ki usko pata hai par bas chinta kar raha hai, baat kar raha hai but act nahi kar raha, he either takes charge or situation or removes himself from it
4. Usko shaq ho raha tha, before 31st party he had scenes with her where her chhoti se chot was making him restless, Faizi also said 'kyun usko delha ja rqha tha ankhiyon ke jharokhe se' to which he had no answer
5. Attraction tha from start, he was intrigued by her from the 1st scene the 'hey you' scene coz she stood up against him, so tashan start ho gaya tha, attraction bhi tha which he used to conceal, ofcourse being a trainer apni cadet ke saath nahi chahega kuchh bhi just for attraction
