Exactly she has to be realize Aditya is not the victim. He isn't a dhoodh peeta bacha, he is a grown up who can decide for himself so stop baby sitting him. Totally forgot about another moment - Imlie taking Aryan’s hand and pulling him along because she wanted to show him something. I already mentioned it but I loved it so much I’m going to mention it again - him checking her temperature - so cute.

This whole exchange was super odd and weirdly placed but I loved it so much. Them sticking it in this episode instead of in one maybe last week, just allowed it to kind of get lost amongst everything else.

And I would just like to say please don't... seriously don't go in that territory of pettiness. I get you are hurt and broken but just Don't be Malini going on taunting spouses... love or hate he is now her husband. And as a dignified person accept it.

They kind of hope she has right now that babusaheb will shun malini and the maan she is showing ke uska phone nhi uthaya mere zaroor uthayenge don't do that... that is really immature.

Truly saying her mother isn't AKT's bodyguard neither is she.

Like I don't find her worrying annoying what I find annoying is mujhe sabse zyada fiqar hai thing like keeping tab and telling people to take care of him that is what irks me.

They’re just so easy with each other. It is one of those things where you’re able to fight, you’re able to be honest, you’re able to be real with each other, because there’s this comfort in the relationship. A confidence that what happens in this moment won’t ruin the whole relationship. That the foundation of what you have is stronger than that.

And that ultimately will be what sets them apart.

Watching the preview today there were a few things that stuck out, that in my mind cement why I prefer Arylie over Adilie.

1. Language

It took 350+ episodes for her to be able to call Aditya an idiot and only about 50 for her to call Aryan a donkey. She also uses "tum" and more casual and equal language with Aryan (which is weird because she uses "aap" for Arpita, Nishant, Roopi, etc. who are similar in age to him so what makes Aryan so special that she is informal with him?) than she does with Aditya, who is always "aap" or "babu saheb". I mean she never called Aditya by his first name during their most intimate scenes but I feel like once the Arylie story really gets started we might get her actually called him by his first name.

2. Behaviour and relationship dynamics

Imlie is able to go toe-to-toe with Aryan when she is fighting with him and/or has a different viewpoint. After the forced marriage and the move into the Tripathi's house as a maid, she was so scared of Aditya that she put up with his shitty behaviour and was never able to demand any respect from him. She has no issue with speaking up and holding her own when it comes to Aryan though. I recognize the dynamic is different between a forced marriage vs. boss/employee relationship but it's still a notable difference. Imlie was weirdly deferential to Aditya even when she disagreed with him and that meant that she was never able to truly be on equal footing with him. I didn't like that dynamic because it didn't strike me as very healthy in the long run for a husband and wife.

3. Chemistry

Finally, in the promo and in the other scenes we've seen of them so far Arylie have undeniable chemistry even when they're arguing that allows you to actually envision them being together as husband and wife. Adilie had chemistry too but in an old-school way that still sometimes felt too platonic/unromantic because of the mismatched dynamics. Beyond that weird shoulder kiss scene, I could never really wrap my head around them being together in a more romantic/sexual way that is more fitting for a married couple. I can very easily picture Aryan and Imlie in that way though and it seems like we might get a peek of that with the upcoming Shiddat dance sequence.

Would love to hear others' thoughts on the differences between the two couples as well!
