Some people might think it's bad, but I want to highlight few things where I don't think Kundan Character deserve such treatment.

1) Sanjana who engaged and gave ultimatum to her parents that she will marry him in earlier episodes. ( Terrace scene of saran before Sidsa first date) then how she can forgot her fiancé ? If you were so unsure about him then you could have said no why to play with a boy?

2) Sid doesn't deserve this betrayal, he should have known this from the starting no matter if sidsa start or not.. She actually took his advantage of kindness and now ditch him.

3) Forget rural development or Orthodox thinking what issues makers wanted to show. Play with men feelings and then play women card? Lying to someone and then ask for forgiveness ??

I meant why this show can't be neutral with their characters.

Neutral. Coz quote, people who live in dreams often lose sense of reality.

Sanj being not that affected by Sid's heartbreak or rather not taking complete responsibility of it is something I am not able to digest

Her dialogue from Monu-Sanj scene 'bas ek galti ho gayi humne Sid ko sach nahi bataya, wo him aaj bata denge'

She didn't just hide truth, she led him on, continued giving him false hopes

She got plenty of opportunities to reveal the truth, but she didn't, Kundanji's arrival should have triggered her to take action but she didn't

She kept going out with both of them simultaneously, how would they know whats in her heart

She is still thinking about herself & her family, where is Sid in all this, what's his mistake, why is she treating him as just a collateral damage, its far more than that, she broke his heart again & this time knowingly

As much as I love Sanj.. I do acknowledge that her behaviour was terrible, toxic and selfish.

Sid didn't deserve this heartbreak, Kundan doesn't either. 🥺

Agree, Sanjana lost her sanity here.

It is not fair on Kundan nor Siddhart and also not on her parents.

When she accepted Siddhart as her friend, knowing well about his love, she should have revealed the truth of her engagement sans the Manju story.

Also, what is her plan? Wait for 6-8 months to reveal about her feelings? What happens to her parents then?

BTS shows Karan advising Sanjana, "Main Hoon Na, sab sambhal lunga" is 🤦🏻‍♀️.

I hope this does not become a Beti bachao abhiyan. First Koel, now Sanjana.

Egghactly.

Each takes responsibility of their own actions.

She had no control over the situations leading to her engagement. But she was in ALL other cases.

She can't change the mindset of her parents but she could make her stand clear for people who matter to her.

But did Sid actually matter for him, she acts all responsible & mature & keept calling Sid chirkut, for so long.

Her actions & choices in this track have actually shown us who is the mature one & who the actual chirkut.

Her family's emotional blackmail, 'izzat ki khatir', Kundan's male ego, everything will be shown against her now, just to justify her majboori, but was she actually that majboor to begin with, didn't she have the choice to not get involved with Sid? She needs to take full responsibility of the part she played in leading things to where they stand today.

Specially wrt Sid, she is still not understanding the gravity of the pain she has caused him 'kaash woh mujhe maaf kar sake'.

They should show her character growth from hereon rather than brushing everything under the carpet of majboori, society etc.

Indeed, there is so much potential here, they could show Sanj looking beyond everything and making her way to Sid's heart, in a proper way.
