No, she isn’t!! But she’s also human.. any person who so longing wishes for you, with someone whom you’ve shared a past.. it is bound to melt you to an extent. She is feeling vulnerable. She hadn’t had a companion, a well wisher or even a friend, for YEARS, 10 years!! And suddenly someone showing care, need and want.. it’s bound to make her feel vulnerable! Allow her to be human.. at least she is staying by the boundary. She genuinely cares for Vikrant, also loves him, always have, but she understands he isn’t right for her.. she wouldn’t go back to him, at any cost! But is it wrong for her to care for him?? I don’t think so! Is it wrong for her to feel for him, when she is staying within her boundaries?? I don’t think so! So yes, she does feel for V, but isn’t going back to him! There is a difference between feeling and acting on those feelings!

I don't mind showing Deepika as human with flaws and vulnerabilities, but I'm disappointed she compromised her ethics as a doctor for Vikrant. I don't blame her for having care and concern for him, or even feelings. It's natural to do so, especially as she's been alone for so long. I just don't like to see Deepika diverted from her goals and putting her own career in danger, which is her one true love. Nor do I like that she feels obliged to be Vikrant's carer just because that Didi turned out to be useless. Informing Aditi would've been the right thing to do. Hoping she gets a wake-up call soon like Abhay and this drama in the middle ends soon.

If she had allowed him to continue as a surgeon knowing he has drug issues, then YES, that would have been compromising with her ethics! But instead she made him go to rehab, which PC would have done as well. She just didn’t want to expose him as exposing him could also mean, exposing their history. Too many things at stake, not just what you see! her hiding it isn’t going against ethics.. if she is taking the right step and action as it would require her to, which is keeping Vikrant away from patients, till he recovers!! She will keep an eye on him once he is back. She will tell PC if she can’t handle him by herself. Telling his wife wouldn’t have helped as the situation could have gone ugly. Besides, his wife couldn’t have helped him even if she wanted to, as Vikrant would have refused her, at all cost! Deepika would have been caught in the middle, badly. She DID try and speak to his sister, but it didn’t help.. she left him at her care and asked Deepika to fix it. Deepika would have faced more torture had she involved any more family of his. Yes, his wife has the right to know, and she will eventually.. but maybe not at the moment..
