Keeping my own viewpoint/bias aside between who is right/wrong, I wanted to ask this generic question.

Virat has been constantly saying that Sai is not understanding him. Despite them being friends she is neither able to read through his gestures nor place her trust on him. Fine. Agreed.

Trust, let's not talk about it, that's actually his love that takes the form of possessiveness. Hence the past. Can't blame him for it🤷. But my question is about understanding and reading into each other. Sai failed in understanding him. But has Virat ever understood her? It took Sunny and his Aai to make him even thinks that Sai also loves him. But he still doesn't still believe it. And has he ever understood her insecurities, her fears, her pain? What she goes through when his ex walks in on them, abuses her or when he mute during all such encounters? What she is going through dealing with his half baked inconsistent truths. How hurt she is and why? But he wants Sai to understand. When he himself is an epic fail in that department? Selfish much!

I feel Virat has a pretty one track mind.

He's idealistic, moralistic, truthful in his mind and does everything with the best of his intentions according to himself. So in case his family does not understand his intentions, he's a victim in his head...what he time and again fails to recognise in his head is his actions and observing the effect they have or the basic fact that his rights and wrongs may not stick to one and all. They may have a seperate viewpoint all over. His lies and choices are mentally and emotionally breaking the people he loves but that does not matter because he's mahaan in his head and all sacrifices for the greater good are ok because they are for the greater good; which is his vaada and zimmedari.

Even in Pakhi's case he decided he no longer loved her so no one was supposed to question his intentions or actions everytime she stepped over him and Sai and their marital life. He forgot that his other half should be equally convinced of his loyalty, he never worked towards it with respect to drawing boundaries for himself and Pakhi.
