fully agreed.mitali raj, smriti mandhana, poonam raut these names were in the news during women's WC last yr. Pan somehow jhulan goswami i don't recollect . You are right- blame goes to sports ministry and BCCI.

In the US too women's soccer team is not promoted as much even though they've won 4 world cups and many Olympic medals. It's the patriarchy to blame....

@mishkil - Not my favored genre . Looping in Priya as she likes this genre.
