I am not sure about it. I am watching another language remake and there her mother is shown money minded and craze to be in developed country that’s why she did not come to India with these two. She acknowledge about her daughter but does not want to give her time as she thinks money can buy everything

Now I remember..The actor who is playing dr.siddhesh he played Lord Surya in Mahabharat..

He has done so many ad films also..

She can’t get herself to trust her mother again that she would not leave her if she gets any new opportunity or something better .

I think the way it would be shown she always stayed in touch with daughter it just that she did not want to come back to India. And since gungun never had mother available for her she hates her mom
