My one question to all the folks in the FD is this. Why do they downplay sada’s bond with virat so much!!! Am I the weird one who saw virat’s bond with sada being equivalent to sunny’s? Because for me my best friends hold an important place in my life. I feel bad when sada is just seen as a criminal.

Virat killed a naxal as a police officer! Now can’t he feel for his best friend who he shared all his feelings with when they were in college? Also people with left views are well read and compassionate and sacrificing. Their ways are anti system but they work for the upliftment of the downtrodden. When the makers repeatedly showed that virat praised his friend and his ideologies, when they showed how much he is bonded with him, then why are not people understanding his importance in virat’s life.? If sunny had similar issues due to some reasons, will virat not go out of his way to help him?

sometimes I think I am not understanding the plot or being too idealistic but sometimes I think that’s what best friends do. The only problem he is facing is that he is not seeing sais changed feelings now, he is stuck at dosti track!! If he had known a little bit about her feelings, he would have confessed!

They rather show her as a mahan FL if they don’t intend to call out her mistakes. I feel Virat is the FL if the show who gets misunderstood by family and spouse , whose integrity is questioned by every Tom dick and Harry while Sai is the ML who gets away despite being arrogant.

Can I ever dream of one episode where Virat shows mirror to his hypocrite family ? Rono refuses to go back and gives it back to DIG and Emon for not trusting him but our Vankar will skip this scene .

Vankar loves Sai and hates Virat. But, I do hope after the public backlash and he shows a strong Virat.

Better would be if Virat leaves CN forever . The family doesn’t deserve him and he will be better off without any of them especially his parents . His parents could have spoken to him snd his wife in private after returning from the function but instead choose to talk in ZA and gave people like Sonali some entertainment and doesn’t stand by him when he is made fun of by Karishma and Sonali .

Virat is an orphan who has noone when he needs someone's support. It's better that he leaves everyone.

There are two answers here . One from audiences and one from story point view . From audiences point of view even if Sada was not a criminal they would not have accepted Virat’s concern and care for his best friend because audiences want to see the ML prioritizing FL over everything. By helping Sada he is allowing Shruthi to be part of his life which audiences can’t accept because it’s a threat to Fl position in his life . Even if Virat had declared Shruthi as his sister the reaction would be the same . Even if it was Sunny the reaction would be the same as long as there is a women involved .

If we think from story point of view we need to accept that this is ITV show where they follow certain unsaid rules . Since it’s ML he cannot be shown as completely right period . He will be called out for helping a friend who happened to be a criminal. Let’s say it was FL then we would have seen ML and family being called out for suspecting a women’s character . Haven’t we seen sacrificing FL being hailed and sacrificing ML seen as unworthy of balancing relationship.

Then Nitu, either Case it is a shallow understanding of virat’s character. Because makers according to me ARE clearly showing he is risking everything to help sadas family. He is putting his ‘self’ at the backseat. It is for me very selfless of him. He appears failing as husband here because he doesn’t think sai considers him as one! Yet. So his responses seem like distant.

for me virat will fail as a husband if he takes up pakhis responsibility. But then also I can not take away his humanity from him. Makers and KJ have clearly established his character for me. What is not established is his love story and his role of a husband which we are exploring now. It IS extremely hard to live with a person like virat because of this selfless nature. They will prioritize their work duty ideals etc more than themselves and family will suffer. He seeks understanding and if they don’t get that they lose their temper. Once sai really Becomes his wife, his expectations also will increase and hence more hurt for sai. It is common. That is the beauty and ugliness of marriage. You consider your partner as half of you and also take them for granted.

so people constantly saying virat will be made Mahan at the end of this track confuses me because he is Mahan! That’s how he is being showed but after reading your opinion, I think we are all tuned to FL being Mahan not ML.

Sai is endearing for me because she is very real! She is strong, sensitive and vulnerable in love. Beautiful character ization and so is virat, selfless to the point of fault :(

This is correct. I also believe that virat should apologize pakhi for this Vaada! But according to him he had not wronged her because he believes his brother is a very good man! However he should acknowledge that she was hurt and apologize for that. I think he did sympathize with her in the beginning which costed him sai’s love. As soon as he started fallimg in love, pakhi took backseat and threw her off into being revengeful. But pakhi being selfish to another level doesn’t help much. Marrying samrat to stay close to virat in my opinion is not a wise decision at any level. Ideal would have been just calling off marriage has her dad suggested.

I hate it when they use womanizer bhabhi Bhakt lustful etc. I remember him being criticized for getting close to his wife!!! I think people want his life to revolve around sai only, not have his own space! That is toxic for me. Virat and sai will have so many conflicts just because of their age and brought up. Love will make them closer but to stay together they need to work everyday!!!! That’s the beauty. Anyways. I am very glad I left MF for good. 😳
