I am puzzled that these two are sleep talking in their insobriety and none of the family members overhear them. No one ever has the slightest inkling of what is going on in their lives. They have some doubt here or there but no one ever tries to clarify any of the feelings and needs of these two.
And this is the reason these two souls feel so alone. No one truly asks them what they need. because they never demanded anything from anyone people only came and took from them. One found solace in music and one found peace in studies then his profession.
But when they met each other their souls connected. The struggle began when one of the souls is ridden with guilt.
To truly be able to be with each other both of them have to grow together, leave old baggage of heart ache, guilt and find where their truly happiness lies.
Another brilliant analysis. I almost thought we weren't going to get with one as most people's moods had soured due to the following episode where it felt like nothing had happened and we all went back in time with the two playing "normal" again. We have frustrated and anger Abhi purposefully taunting Akshara to get her to break. This girl has build a huge moat around the castle she has encased her feelings in. It is going to take a lot for her to open her mouth. And due to circumstances it is almost a little too late for Akshara to say something because if she did everyone would fault her for her actions. Arohi would have every right to say Akshara took her happiness away.
We are going to get more drama in the next few weeks until everything is cleared up. More anxiety from Arohi about her lies, possibility that Neil is going to start digging up the truth, and seeing Akshara somehow always involved in drama with Abhi. More tears from Akshara as she wrestles with the weight of what she is doing to herself and Abhi for the sake of bringing happiness to Arohi. More angst and erratic behavior from Abhi when it comes to Akshara.
@bold Couldn't have said it better. The drunken hut episodes are my favorite as it really showed us who Abhimanyu and Akshara are. Two lonely souls who found a connection with each other and are complete when they are together. They will be each other's strengths.
I am reminded of how Akshara always looked in awe at Abhi whenever he stood up for her or boldly declared his undying love for her. It's like the first time someone is putting her as the priority. For Abhi it's Akshara first and everything else can follow after cause he can give a d*mn. She's never experienced that in her family. She always remains quiet and silently does the right thing that the family does not have any real sense of what she truly thinks and feels. She's the peacemaker and allows others to take from her because she loves them and for her it's not a big deal.
Sure you have Neil on Abhi's side that tries to fight for him but at the end he is still the younger sibling he can only do so much as the elders in the house have already made the decision to get Abhi married to Arohi. I think the only reason why we like Neil more than Kairav is because he smiles when he hears that Abhi is with Akshara. He loves his bro and wants him to get his happiness. And Neil is more of a man of action but he is like this because Abhi has openly made his stance clear to everyone. He loves Akshara. So Neil has that backing if he sees something he can do he will do it. Now that Neil knows something is up with a photo and there is some secret between Arohi and Harshvardhan he is going to start digging around.
Kairav is much like his sister. He thinks and then only interjects when necessary and wants to maintain the peace in the household. But he is also caught in between two sisters and he's trying to balance things. Kairav has asked multiple times for Akshara to reconsider things and to let her heart speak out but each time Akshara says no. So what more can he do? And the last time Akshara spoke she provided reasons why Arohi would be a better Birla bahu. Kairav hardly knows Abhimanyu. It's not like he's going to go to him and say "Hey, so this is the deal with my sisters. And here is a very personal piece of family information about how our parents died. This explains why we are the way we are. And also Akshara loves you even though she is denying it." Kairav will then have to deal with accusations that he is favoring one sibling over the other. Akshara can lie and had has lied before and she will continue to deny and tell everyone that Kairav misunderstood her and that she does not love Abhimanyu. At the end of the day this is a personal matter between Akshara and Abhi. If Akshara opens her mouth I think Kairav would be there to support her. Right now he's remaining quiet to support Akshara's decision of "moving on".
As for Arohi it's quite clear the family tries to make this stubborn child understand things but she never understands or learns her lessons. We've seen the family shut her mouth when she crosses the line. So I wouldn't say they always allow Arohi have free rein. But she is more vocal and because she is more vocal they hear her thoughts and feelings and make decisions according to such. They do not purposely shut Akshara out.
I hope whenever the big drama happens there is going to be some reality checks given to both the Birla and Goenka households on how they have been treating Abhi and Akshara.
