Imlie:

- "My emotions!" Poor kid. But she is genuinely trying. Like Aryan said, this wedding was her toughest job. She went through hell and came out the other side. Her tears won't be wasted on just anyone and anything now. She won't allow Aditya any more of herself.

Arylie

- Imlie basically had a vidai scene with T family. Aparna crying like her daughter was leaving forever. Aryan's family there. And then Aryan shows up and says it's time to go. These two didn't get married, but this wedding brought them closer than it did the actual bride and groom.

- The way he pulls her close 🔥 🔥 🔥

- Imlie swearing never to cry over Aditya again and the camera refocuses on Aryan again - the two of them. It felt like a vow not just to sita maiya, but indirectly to Aryan as well.

- We've talked a lot about how societal expectations and gendered roles have shaped Aditya. But I'm finally understanding what effect it's had on Aryan. He lost a father figure and didn't shed a single tear because he had to be the "man of the house". My heart goes out to him. This connection between Aryan and Imlie is one that was forged in pain, but it's already transforming into one of healing.

1st bold - Okay, those scenes of him just standing off to the side/behind the window/in a corner all actually kind of made laugh today. That last one especially.

2nd bold - YES! And the thing is, I don’t think his mom or sister expected that of him, they would never. It was himself and what he felt like he had to do because of societal expectations. But also look at how both men have turned out. How gender roles and expectations have shaped both of them. I can’t say much for Aditya beyond what I’ve seen so far of him myself, but Aryan, the respect he has for women is in stark contrast to what I’ve seen of Aditya.

It was such a perfect episode (well at least the last half of it - what happened in the first half again 🤔 😂) and that precap!?!?!?! I’m dead!

What I absolutely loved is that we knew that Aryan sees her, he really sees Imlie. What they clearly showed today is that Imlie really sees him as well, she’s see Aryan and it’s beautiful. Even he was shocked by it.

I can’t form coherent thoughts after what I just saw so I’m just going to leave it at - they are beautiful and their story is going to be beautiful. They’re perfect for each other. Both in pain. Both healing each other. I can’t.

I’m now going to catch up on everyone else’s thoughts, hopefully you’re all more coherent than I am. 😬

Sab samjhi main, but ye jab bhi Aryan Imlie ko apne paas kheechta hai, iss Imlie ko koi problem nahi hoti na, like never. She is so damn comfy with the guy.😆

Whenever Imlie and Aditya had romantic scenes, I always felt the look on her face was always like, a girl with her crush. Too much idealism with this pati-patni wala crooning.😆

With Aryan, it is so intense, yet calm and comfortable, intimate. Imlie is not in that zone yet, but I would like to really see if she does fall for him, how different her approach will be here. Cause with Aditya she was a girl with stars in her eyes, but with Aryan, she will be a woman with fire.
