My thoughts on SRK vs Aamir ( 3 Idiots)

A very hotly debated topic I wanna give my 2 cents. Last nite I was asleep so I couldnt participate.

I think theres 10/11 films of SRK i really like. I think theres 7/8 films of Aamir I really like

3 Idiots is one of those Aamir movies. I like the movie as it is. Now there are certain illogical things that maybe are overlooked compared to illogical things happening in Dabangg/Singham where some elitists rip it apart. But thats fine.

As for the Speech scene . Im gonna just say anyone who didnt like it should simply not watch 3 idiots ever again but please dont impede anyone else's ability to watch/enjoy it.

All in all for me SRK/Aamir is a tie. Either both are really strong or perhaps they are just equally weak 🤣

Arsy tell us how many sonu songs does Aamir have compared to SRK ??

Nope....she churns out shit left right and center to be in news....as opposed to someone who did not even tweet in the last 2 months...no appearance and still gets discussed....you compared cheese and chalk..

I just wanna say that there's a lot of grey area in everything.

I loved everything about 3 Idiots but didn't enjoy the 'balatkar' speech and the ragging scenes. I cringed at those scenes even when the film released, but I thoroughly enjoyed the film overall.👏

I didn't like those undergarments jokes in Chichore either, but I've seen people (both men and women) cracking up at those scenes, while I just feel numb watching those scenes.🤔

I still love Chichore because of the performances and the overall messaging of the film.❤️👏

Similarly, I still love cheesy SRK's romantic films KKHH, DDLJ, K3G, KHKH etc. ☺️ They had the best songs, locations & cinematography and I can't imagine my childhood without those SRK films.

Obviously so many things from those films don't make sense now, but the fact that people still have to watch/discuss/dissect those films is proof enough that they're timeless classics, while no one cares enough to discuss several other flop films that era.

I don't understand the need to cancel those scenes years later. We should be just thankful that the audience in general has grown and has become more aware of these things now.

Performance-wise, both SRK & Aamir have given good, bad and ugly performances. So I don't care who's the best.😆
