The story has reached to point of nostory. Only characters exist in form of Names.
If Aditya marries Malini or stays with Imlie
or Imlie marries Aryan and stays with him
The story has nothing to move forward
Aryan's sister seems too little affected by the accident. She seems quite fine with Sundar. Even Aryan is carrying a baggage of ridiculous revenge as Aditya was just a reporter, he was not cause of someone putting fire on a car. He is so expert to know names of people, their history.. .why will he not do deep diving to one's who put petrol etc. So this is a ridiculous way of writing story lines and just because people keep watching, these stories keep moving endlessly.
In earlier days, serials had defined number of episodes. So story telling had concrete approach. Now it is more about sponsorship, etc.
I would happily watch the good episodes again, but I don't have that facility sadly. Don't have Hotstar nor a Skybox.
I know it is fiction, but watching it is like reading a book, you feel entitled to some control over what happens! I disliked Malini from the very first time we met her, she was so very fake, so for her to progress so far without punishment is the wrong way for a story to go!
At least with a book you can check the end will be OK before you safely read it, (I am not alone in doing that!) and if not you can ditch the book and find a happier one.

Knowing the bad will be beaten ultimately gives one hope for the future and the strength to carry on, but with serials like this the constant misery and worry about whether there will be a final success is so draining! So many have started well and become so miserable that the audience have left in droves and the serials have ended as the makers made them far too depressing for the audience to be able to enjoy them. Imlie has gone that way the last few months, it is on its last legs now if the makers do not beat evil finally this week.😔 I didn't sign up for torture!
I have moved back mostly to Scandinavian series as they generally are more positive. I was hoping that Imlie would not let me down as the premise of a village girl as the heroine was so much more interesting than rich city dwellers in huge barren homes and dripping with useless jewellery. I wish it had spent much more time back in Pagdandya, but now we are still getting constant insults about village folk, illiteracy, stupidity and more - I thought the point was to show how much better village folk are in many ways but we are back into the rich snobs arena with more money and power than intelligence and kindness.
Ah well, will see tonight if this is my final visit to the Imlie world on not.
