i think Imlie’s core character has endless optimism, perseverance & innovation. So she decided she’s going to make things clear and right one way or another. Okay, I get it but it’s tiring. It’s like beating a dead horse which is further solidified by Aryan’s montage of all the moments Imlie lamented and experienced the pain of hindsight.

We’ve all said it before, if Imlie works things out with Aditya and goes back to him — she’s doing herself a disservice. It doesn’t matter if she rages at him and then acquiesces; or they make Malini their black sheep for all the reasons their relationship suffered and fell weak… she will be disrespecting herself. Blaming Malini doesn’t fix their problems. The same man who can do “what he thinks is right at that moment” without objectively seeing things will hurt her again. He will drag her through the mud again and she can’t blame anyone but herself.

What’s sad is that I think Adi is stuck in his chakravuyh … set to repeat the same follies. He will pine and approach Imlie despite getting married to Malini (if he does marry Malini). Only difference is that he won’t be married to Imlie from the get go. He’s forever the guy who dragged Imlien to his AdiNi mandap only to not lay the truth out clearly. To bend and fold under his own judgement and hesitancy
