SCENE: next day; evening; park inoutskirts of somnaath

Dev asks shivi to come to the park by 5pm to meet rishita but he himself was lateby 30 min. it has almost been a day shivi didn’t had any convo other than the required one. Raavi was still hurt whereas shiva couldn’t figure out how to make her understand. He wants to explain his words. He wants to say sorry but he was afraid for hurting her further. In their 3 months’ relationship, this was for the first time that she was hurt because of him. Shiva has beenrestless since the day before. He takes a deep breath and tries to starts convo but suddenly dev arrives with rishita. Dev introduces rishita by saying ‘shiva, raavi ye rishita hai…..aur rishita tum toh inhe jaaanti hi ho….’. rishita smile and shakes hand with both of them. Rishita feels a bit uncomfortable as she meeting someone from dev’s family for the first time. Raavi tries to make her comfortable by saying ‘dev ne hume sab bataya hai…..tum tension lene ki jaroorat nhi hai….hmm?’. ‘tension lene ki jaroorat hai…..’says shiva being worried. Rest three looks him withconfusion. Shiva continues ‘tension leneki jaroorat hai kyunki dono ghar ke rishte bilkul ache nhi hai…..tum dono ke pyaar se atraazz nhi hai pann….’. dev asks ‘par kya?...’. ‘par kya gurantee hai ki rishita ki family maan jaye gi……ek baar ko hum sab maa ko mana lenge lekin janardan aur uski vo behn ka kya….mujhe nhi lagta vo itne aasani se mane ge…….’ says shiva. raavi retorts saying ‘kyun nhi maanege…..rishita ki khushi ke liya zaroor manege…..’. ‘main puri koshish karungi……main dev ke bina nhi reh sakti……main papa ko mana ke rahugi….’ says rishita determinately.Shiva being inconvinced says ‘aur agr von hi mane toh…..unke khilaaf jaane ka matlab hai mushibat ko invitation dena’. ‘tum kehna kya chahte ho shiva….papa apni beti ko mushibat me dalege?....itne bure nhi hai vo…..mana ki voh thode strict hai….unhe manane me time lagega par vo zaroor manege’ says rishita angrily. Dev tries to calm her. ‘kya ho gya hai tujhe shiva…..ek baar baat toh karne de rishita ko……bina jaane tu kaise kisi conclusion pe aa sakta hai…….’ says raavi being shocked by shiva’s behaviour. She was not able to understand that how can shiva be so insensitive about dev’s love when he himself knows what love is to someone. On other side, shiva thinks how to explain them that janardan is too dangerous for the pandyas. It's not that he has any problem with dev's love infact he is really happy for him, the problem is janardan and his evil tactics. shiva knows that janardan will never let his daughter marry his enemy. ‘tum log samjh kyun nhi rahe ho……janardan kabhi iss rishte ke liye nhi maanega…….aur uske khilaaf jaoge toh vo kisi bhi hadd tak ja sakta hai badla lene ke liye’ retorts shiva. ‘aur agr vo maan gye toh’ says rishita determinantly. ‘itna hi bharosa hai toh ajma ke dekh lo’ retorts shiva. ‘bass karo tum dono……shiva ek baar rishita ko baat karne de……aur rishita tum…..tumhe lag raha hai but tumhare papa ko manana aasan nhi hoga’ says dev and shiva sighs. ‘jo bhi hai…….lekin parivaaro ko kahin aur se pta chale, usse phele bata do……aur ek kaam karo….dono ek specific din decide karo….dono families ko ussi din batayege….taaki agr koi drama ho toh samhal jaaye…..’ advises shiva to which all agree. It’s time to leave. At last raavi and rishita hugs each other and raavi assures her saying ‘sab sahi hoga….hmm’ to which rishita smiles. Shiva internally smile seeing how raavi makes people hers in just one meet. Indeed, she is the sweetest and the cutest girl in entire somnaath. But this sweet and cute girl is angry with him. no problem he’ll manaofy her.

It was almost dark. Dev goes to drop rishita and asks shiva to go with raavi. As soon as dev-rishita, shiva was about to talk to raavi, but she starts leaving without listening. Shiva follows her. He calls her out by saying ‘aee chi- raavi……kahan ja rahi hai….ruk toh sahi……’. Raavi stops at his bike and says ‘mujhe ghar jana hai shiva ……..chal…….’. shiva had enough of this.This girl was not ready to listen anything. He pulls her and pins her b/w him and his bike. She tries to get away but all in vain. ‘kyun kar rahi hai ye tu?......ek mauka toh de apni samjhane ka…….mera matlab vo nhi-’ shiva tries to explain but stops as he hears someone from other side saying ‘oho madam……thoda time humare saath bhi bitalo…..hn’ and starts laughing in a teasing way. Shiva’sblood boils at this. ‘abee teri toh..’ says shiva as he starts moving towards them but raavi stops him and calms him saying ‘shiva rehne de na……chode….mat uljhinse ….please…’. shiva looks at raavi who looks a bit frightened. He agrees and get on to his bike. But before he starts it, the other boys teases raavi by saying ‘aree aao na jaaneman……tumhare iss romeo se jayada pyaar denge…….*laughs*’. Enough. The last thread of shiva’s control breaks. He gets down the bike and goes towards them saying ‘aaj inn dono ne ghr se bahar nikal ke galti kar di’ while folding his sleeves and starts beating the two boys miserably. Raavi shouts him to stop but he doesn’t get hear. both of them started bleeding but shiva doesn’t stop. Now, raavi finds the need to intervene. She goes near them and clutches shiva’s arm tightly and says ‘shiva ruk ja please…….shiva please…’.But shiva takes his hand out of her grip and says ‘nhi raavi aaj nhi….main inhe nhi chodunga’ as he starts beating them again. ‘shiva tujhe meri kasam…….chode unhe……’ shouts raavi from back. Shiva stops at her voice and both the boys runs away. Shiva turns to raavi and immediately hugs her tightly in a bone crashing hug. ‘tune mujhe roka kyun?.......aaj main unki jaan le leta…….himmat kaise hui tere baare me aise bolne ki’ says shiva trying hard not to cry. Raavi tries to calm him down.She takes him to the bike and made him sit on it. She wipes his tears and set his hair properly. Raavi takes shiva’s hanky from him and wraps it around his hand as it got an injury. Shiva just admire raavi. Even though she is angry with him but still she is taking care of him. as raavi completes his dressing,shiva stands and hugs raavi again. Raavi caress his hair and says ‘sab thik hai shiva….tu shaant ho ja’.Shiva breaks the hug and nods his head in no. he says ‘nhi sab thik nhi hai……..tu naraaj hai mujhse…….(takes her hand inhis)raavi mera matlab vo nhitha……..tere-mere aur dev-rishita ke rishte me fark hai…..maami hume baate suna sakti hai, bhala bura kah sakti hai…..par use hume physical khatra nhihai……….lekin janardan, vo kuch bhi kar sakta hai kisi ko bhi nuksaan pahucha sakta hai…….(leaves her hand and holds her shoulder) tu jaanti hai na ki mujhe sabdo ka istmaal karna bhi nhi aata…..phirbhi tu mujhse naaraj ho gyi……tu soch bhi kaise sakti hai ki main humare pyaar ko galti samjhuga………I am sorry raavi, I am really really sorry……..please mujhse aise naaraj mat hua kar………please…….tu maar le chilla le pann aise naaraj mat ho mujhe please chipkali’. Raavi feels some sort of peace in her heart. She cups his face and says ‘main naaraj nhi thi shiva…….bas thoda sa darr gyi thi……..tu please aise kuch mat bola kar jisse mujhe lage ki main tujhe kho dungi……phele hi ghar ke rishto ko dekhkar darr lagta hai….’. shiva wipes her tears and says ‘tu bilkul matt darr……..duniya koi taqat hume durr nhi kar sakti…..maami aur maa ki ladai toh durr ki baat hai…..’. both chuckles at this. ‘aur tu bhi fikr mat kar…….humari superfamily hai na……rishita ke papa ka jo scene banega na…..hum sab milke samhaal lenge….’. Shiva kisses her forehead and says ‘I LOVE YOU CHIPKALI’ to which raavi smiles and replies ‘I LOVE YOU TOO MERE BANDAR…..’. ‘99’ says shiva and both hugs each other.
