Salman is really a laid-back guy. He has everyone come up to his farmhouse.

Also, if he had rejected her because she said no to doing him favours. Then wtf would he bring that up now?!

I agree that there can be a scenario where he was just rubbing it in her face and then she bowed down due to the pressure and said she wanted to dance with him. But that's just too much thinking.

Salman said, Mrunal Thakur was the first choice for the movie Sultan, and the director Ali Abbas introduced her to him. It is my opinion that, the Yash Raj Films (YRF) might had something to do with Mrunal not being cast in the movie Sultan. Apparently, the YRF makes a new comer sign their exclusive three movies deal. There are media reports that, Mrunal had declined to sign the three movies deal with the YRF, this also led her not being cast in the movie Thugs of Hindostan.

This scenario would make more sense of Salman mentioning this point in front of the camera, and her asking him to dance with her.
