That's not the point, Abhimanyu needs a little sign that Akshu loves him than he can fight the whole world for her. This would let him know she loves him no matter what she claimed earlier.

Yes well she told him a million times she don't love him and he is nothing to her. Anyone else in his place would have given up on her a long time ago, infact akshu herself would have given up. Remember during the tilak fiasco she believed he don't love her at the very first misunderstanding and gave up. I am not saying he's perfect, I think in agreeing to marry Aarohi he made a huge mistake but he is not at fault in this case.
