That's the thing right..they don't think that they're butchering him. They're in this illusion that with those shady monologues of his, they're creating sympathy. They think that they're making him a bechara who's being misunderstood for protecting his family. That's the reason behind all those monologues

If they bring Sai's "redemption" arc after this, I don't know what I'll do
