TejAng FF: Alone protects me - updated pt8-pg5

Chapter 1

Satti was doing her usual chores in the backyard of Sandhu House. She heard from Dilraaj that Kushbeerji and Gurpreetji came to visit them. She started to make tea and served it with snacks.

KSV told to the Sandhu family that they are leaving for Gurdaspur and to visit the Gurudwara. He asked Rupi to join them.

" Trip bhi accha lagega jab hum sab ek family ki tarah jaaye. Teeno ke jaane ke baad ghar soona soona sa hogaya hai.' Gurpreet requested.

Rupi replied, " Ji zaroor ." He looked at satti to know her opinion

Satti said," Do din mein Dilraaj ke exams khatam ho jane ko hai. Kya uske baad hum jaa sakte hai?"

KSV and Gurpreet nodded and informed to be ready. They will plan rest of the things and left the house.

**** Maan Mansion***

Tejo never told Angad how much she was thankful to him, his presence and support during these past few weeks helped her clear her mind and decide what she wants to do next. She knew that moving on for her would be 2x difficult when compared to others. By introducing her to the local MSME owners Angad solved problem at both sides. Local woman learned from Tejo about the scope of market and they also learned that they can sell their products online.

Though for the first two weeks she always felt restless. He diverted her attention to other things. But today was a different story.

Tejo was restless. She was so tensed today for Angad. For the first time in few months her mind is completely occupied by something else otherwise it was either Jasmine or Fateh whose thoughts kept her busy.

Today is hearing for Riya's custody for which Angad was so anxious. She knew he couldn't have slept for a blink of a second. He was not in his zone since morning didn't speak to her much. He just looked at her once with a weird expression which she could not understand.

"Kya hua Angadji. Kya mai aapki kuch madad kar sakti hoon?" She asked.

" Nahi." His voice was broken and he left the house to attend the session.

She wanted to go with him but he told her not to come. There is nothing much he could do too.

Fateh left to his work earlier than usual. He got a job in the nearby hotel of Gurdaspur Gurdwara. It had a small convention center for people. The hotel owner was an Old Lady who was attacked by goons, he helped her and she requested him to join the hotel as a manager. He refused the role of manager keeping in mind that he will return to his family in few months but he said he will be happy if he could be a receptionist.

Fateh repented for his mistakes. He understood how badly he treated Tejo while she was giving her full effort to make their relationship work.

He always questioned himself if he actually loved Jasmine? But if it wasn't love what made him do such nasty things. He hated himself for that. He unintentionally made everyone's life complicated.

He used to share room with bartender name Sunny. He helped him during his initial days here.

" Veere bas do din mein meri behen ki shaadi hai Gurudwara mein tujhe aana hi hoga." Sunny told Fateh. He felt so happy for him.

Jasmine got herself into a con job. It did give her a lot of money but she didn't understood the underlying problem with such jobs. She was just increasing the list of enemies.

Being a dumb head she was she took up a high risk case. The instructions were simple, to get in touch with the guy in the photograph handed over to her earlier and drop an earring into his coat pocket and hand over the other earring to the client.

She asked for address and it was Hotel Palm. She was told that the party was high profile and she must be dressed in the same way. The party was scheduled for tomorrow evening so she had enough time for shopping.

Tejo called Rajat about the judgement, her said the case isn't strong enough from their side and Riya's grandmother has chances to win the custody. Before he could go into details his call ended abruptly.

" Rajat maine kaha tumse ki kuch bhi mat batana Tejoji ko. " Angad was angry.

" Sir, par aapki engagement se iss case bahut strong hojayegi humari side se," Rajat was interrupted by Angad.

"Fake hai. Woh engagement Jo Moga mein hua woh sab acting tha. I was just helping her in that situation." Angad said.

" Par sir aapko dekh kar hum sab ko laga ki aap ma'am se pyaar karte hai aur isliye shaadi ko haa kiya. " Rajat told sincerely.

Angad didn't reply to him and simply left. After being alone for years he only learned how to make others laugh and smile and show them how sorted and happy he was but never shared what he actually feels. Yes he is loud and a bit too much to be with sometimes but deep inside he always felt alone.

With Tejo and Riya under same roof he felt like family. Time and again he reminded himself that these two wonderful people are not his'. Tejo has her own family in Moga and Riya was his niece whose custody he might lose today.

"Ye waheguru!" He sighed and entered the court to listen the judgement.

He lost Riya's custody. Court was not wrong. He was a happening businessman and with actually no one by his side to support him to take care of Riya in his absence. He was never in relationship with anyone to atleast consider his statement but he was allowed to visit her at her grandmother's place two days in a month.

He felt awful at that moment. That Little girl was taken away from him. He kissed her on cheek and made a promise that he will visit her as soon as possible. Riya was too small to understand what was happening around her but she started to cry as she had to leave her Poppins.

Angad returned home past mid night. He wanted to avoid questions from Tejo. He felt she would have slept by then and entered the house. But to his suprise she was waiting for him.

" Kya hua? Kya kaha tha judge ne. Riya kyu nahi aayi." She asked him.

He felt like a loser when she asked him about Riya. The bottled up sadness just poured out in form of tears. His heart felt heavy and his head started to spin he and ears started to ring while he slowly collapsed on the couch. Tejo was taken aback by this she called Angad's personal doctor who was on speed dial.

Chapter 2

Dr. Pratik arrived and did the usual check up.

"Angad is fine he must have had a stressful day. Waise aap kaun hai?" Dr. Pratik asked Tejo who looked so worried.

" Main.. " she took a pause and said, " I am his friend Tejo."

"Good, If you are staying with him just give these medicines after breakfast, he will do better." He handed her few pills and left.

Tejo looked at Angad who was sleeping like a baby on the sofa. She wanted to know about Riya's custody before he wakes up, so she called Rajat to know the judgement.

" Ma'am Sir ko Riya Baby ki custody nahi mil paayi. Sir Riya ko sirf permission lekar Riya ki grandmother ke house mein hi mil sakte hai." He said.

"Ok Rajat, thank you." She said and cut the call.

She wondered what went wrong. Angad has been a gentleman, he was never disrespectful to her or for the matter of fact anyone else. Being the Tejo mata she decided to talk to Riya's grandmother. There must be some misunderstanding she thought.

She dozed off on the couch.

Angad woke up in the early morning. He slowly opened his eyes, his vision was still dizzy. He could see her now. She was sleeping on the couch.

He was so moved. He felt happy and sad at the same time. She was waiting for him and she'll be gone some day. He never wanted her to be in this relationship which was based on a fake engagement no matter how happy it makes him to think that there is someone for him.He decided to keep his distance it is better for her and much much better for him.

He got up from the sofa. Due to cold weather the furniture made a screeching sound disturbing Tejo from her sleep. She saw him standing up and leaving.

"Go to your room and take rest, I will bring the food and medicines." Tejo said with concern.

"I have fallen sick so many times Tejoji, you need not babysit me. Mujhe apna khayal khud rakhna aata hai." He stumbled upon one of the chairs while walking.

Tejo chuckled but couldn't stop herself to help him no matter how much he denied. At this point she realised Angad was a good friend to her.

"Please Tejoji, I am better alone." He said in a very cold manner. Stopped her from coming towards him.

Though Tejo was suprised by his tone and unusual behaviour she brushed away any thoughts thinking about how hard the day was for him.

She made sure he had his food and medicines. She left his room after that and got all the details about Riya's Nani from Rajat.

"Madam, woh shayad aaj party mein jaane wali hai Hotel Palm, Gurdaspur" Rajat confirmed the location.

At the Hotel Palm.

Tejo wore a emarald green saree, simple yet elegant. She was searching for Riya's Nani whose picture was sent to her mobile.

Jasmine entered the hallway and waited for the person to arrive. Little was known to her that the person whom she had to fool was the host of the party. He was a dangerous guy the way he was looking at people says it all. But being Jasmine her trait is to be overconfident.

Meanwhile Tejo spotted Riya's Nani having a chat with another older lady. Moving closer to her she heard Riya's Nani saying,

"Angad jaise kameene ka saaya gaya mere poti par ab khushiyan hi khushiyan.." she was interrupted by Tejo.

"I am sorry, shayad aapse galti huyi hogi unhe samajne mein .. Angad bahut hi acche insaan hai. "

"Kya main Jaan sakti hoon ki tum kaun ho?" Riya's Nani asked her.

"Main vunki fiancè Tejo Sandhu" Tejo replied in a very respectful manner

Riya's Nani bursted into laughter confusing Tejo.

"Ab ye kaunsa naya drama hai, Angad kaha hai aur ye drama karne mein kitna paise mile hai tumhe?" She asked her with a hint of irritation.

"Main koi mazaak nahi kar rahi hoon" she pointed at the engagement ring and continued, " Angad bahut pyaari karte hai Riya se, agar aap vunhe mauka de toh aapko ye baat sabit bhi ho jayega."

Riya's Nani was actually irritated by Tejo,

"Dekho ladki pehli baat ye hai ki uski wajah se meri beti aur damaad dono ki maut huyi hai, uski laparwahi ki wajah se meri poti ek anaad ki tarah jee rahi hai." She was literally shouting at Tejo who was taken aback by the information she was listening to.

"Aur dusri baat, tum uski sach mein mangetar hoti toh woh tumhe court mein zaroor peshkash karta, lekin woh bhi nahi huya. Meri baat suno agar usne tumse sach mein engagement ki hai toh usse tod dena, woh manhoos se shaadi mat kar." She shouted and left the place angrily.

Tejo took a seat at the table. She looked away just to find Angad standing there in shock. He looked so pale and sad as if his life was sucked out of him. He started to leave the place in a quick pace without inviting attention.

Tejo followed him but came across Jasmine who was in a helpless condition. A guy clutched her wrist and she was literally crying. She got caught while slipping the earring into the pocket. The guy caught her demanded her to speak truth and who is behind her.

Tejo stepped in for help but she failed. Jasmine was taken to the nearby police station for interrogation. Tejo followed her but couldn't do anything as Jasmine was not revealing anything to her.

Angad entered the police station with his lawyer, his lawyer had few talks with the police and Jasmine said the matter to Angad and His lawyer. She was bailed out within an hour.

"Tejo tu kyun yaha ayi, tu jab bhi ye shakal leke meri zindagi mein aati hai har baar kuch na kuch gadbad hojata hai, Teri wajah se.." Jasmine started to yell at Tejo in her screeching voice

"Shut up! Just SHUT UP! YOU STUPID WOMAN" Angad yelled at her louder. His eyes turned bloodshot.

"Apna muh band rakho aur jaakar gaadi mein baito apni didi ke saath." He said in his baritone voice which terrified both of the sisters. They quitely sat in the car and Angad drove the car in complete silence. Tejo was constantly checking Angad in the mirror, he looked so angry. Her heart skipped a beat when he looked at her for brief moment. She wanted to speak to him madly but circumstances are not in her favour.

Tejo looked out of the window and decided to have a talk with him. She was overwhelmed by today's incidents. A lot of questions where overflowing in her thoughts,

" Jasmine yahan matlab Fateh kaha hai? Canada ke woh pictures? Aur Angadji ko Riya ki nani ne aisa kyu bola?" She leaned on to the headrest and closed her eyes.

They reached Maan Mansion within an hour. Bubli took both the ladies to the out-house and arranged food, she also gave the message from Angad which he told her to convey only after the Sandhu sisters completed having food. Tejo was waiting to meet Angad and thank him but to her disappointment he called Jasmine to come and meet him. Tejo started to follow her but was interrupted by Bubli,

"Madam aapko aane se mana kiya hai." She said and took Jasmine with her.

Can't comment on the way this show is heading. But I will stop watching on regular basis after KVG's exit.

Yaayee new update!! even ill stop watching after kvg leaves, even if they make him a villian, because everyone except tejo in this show has already become a villian once, so nothing new 😂😂

yeyyyyy nice update. I am losing interest in this show fast after hearing about KVG exit. i mean i know these are all rumours and nothing concrete yet but it has worked as a trigger for me

i will read the stories though. you guys have a gift of writing. do continue. its awesome

Chapter 3

Jasmine entered the hallway of the house. The house was very cozy she was irked by the thought that how her sister always manages to get best treatment. Angad observed the way Jasmine was examining the house as she entered it.

She sat infront of Angad even before he offered her a seat. She crossed her legs and had no manners in any of her ways. She is a spoiled brat and she proves it every second.

Angad place a timer on the coffee table.

"Ab ye kya Naya drama hai fake jeejaji. Kya mujhe dhamki dene ke liye bulaya gaya hai ya been mangne." She talked with that irritating voice of hers.

Angad smiled with a hint of wickedness, he inched closer towards her and said,

"I have poisoned your sister. She might be dead by the time this timer goes off." He smirked and pointed at the timer which was set for 30 minutes.

Jasmine was confused and shocked, " Main kya tumhe pagal lag rahi hook, Jabse tum Moga aaye ho maine tumhe dekha hai. Tum uss Tejo maharani se Kitna pyaar Karte ho Har waqt uski tarafdaari... Toh tumhara ye faltu ka bakwas apne pass rakhiyo" she said.

"Ok then, I have informed you. I am feeling a bit drowsy. I will go and take a quick power nap." He left without looking back at her.

The timer was now at 20 minutes. She started doubting his intentions slowly. What if he actually wants to kill Tejo? She thought for a second. She got up and tried to open the main door. She tried harder this time. Her heart started to race when she realised it was locked. A shiver went through her spine when she felt that Angad has actually planned to kill Tejo, her sister.

Unlike Jasmine Tejo was well educated, she was beautiful inside out, always calm and composed. Jasmine was always insecure of this but never let her insecurities overshadowher love for her sister.But she was only talked about her beauty nothing else, there was nothing much to talk about. When she left the mandap and came back for Fateh, she had to witness Tejo taking her place beside him as his bride, all that pented up frustration and insecurity reached to maximum limits. Though she kept saying that this marriage won't last deep down she always knew it is not possible to not to fall in love with her sister. Even after knowing that she had feelings for Fateh her sister chose to sit and marry him for the sake of the family. Wasn't she a part of the family? Why couldn't she say a simple 'No' for the answer?

Timer was at 15 minutes, she took it in her hand and rushed through the stairs and started banging at Angad's door.

" Psycho hogaye ho kya? Darwaaja kholo aur mujhe jaane do!" She screeched.

Angad stood infornt of her with no sign of guilt. "I hate her, you hate her. I thought you will be the happiest but look at you! Are you a coward? why are you so worried? Is it because she will not be in your life anymore?. All your sorrows will end my friend. Thand pao" He tapped on her shoulder.

Jasmine hates her sister that doesn't mean she wants her to die. She still hates her but cannot lose her completely. She started hitting Angad on his hard chest. He grabbed her wrist in a tight grip and stopped her from hitting him.

She looked at the timer which now shows that there are only 10 mins left. Each passing minute drived her crazy all those bad memories were overshadowed by the good ones.

Tejo was the first person whom she shared her worries with. Tejo guided her in all her problems. Whenever she felt low Tejo put every effort to cheer her and all those childhood memories when Abhiraj used to make fun of her accent it was Tejo who backed her and took her side.

Angad chuckled in a cold manner, " You have to sign a agreement. Uske baad tumhe antidote milegaa. Is it ok?" He looked at the timer and said, "aapke paas 9 minute ka waqt hai tumhari pyaari didi ko bachane ka mauka."

She took the papers and signed it without reading. He gave her the antidote and key from his coat pocket. Jasmine ran towards the out-house. Jasmine was out of breath when she reached there.

" Tejo ye dawai le, tujhe Angad ne zehar dediya, woh tujhe marna chahta hai." She handed her the pill given to her by Angad.

" Kya bakwaas hai! Angadji mujhe kyu maarna Chahthe hai? Jassu tujhe ho kya gaya hai?" Tejo made her sit and took the pill from her hand.

"Ye toh multivitamin ki dawayi hai Jassu, Faltu mein toh itni Darr gayi thi." Tejo said.

" Kya?" Jasmine was so puzzled and looked at Tejo who showed no signs of poisoning. Her anger had no bounds, she stood up and headed towards the door to find a tall figure standing infront of her in the midway.

Angad grinned, he had his way of dealing with people but Jasmine was way too different. If she is left to her will, she might not only destroy her life but everyone around her especially Tejo's life.

The very moment he saw her in the Diwali party Angad understood Jasmine was a bratty woman. She wants a queen treatment while all her actions are of the nicompoop. She needs counseling both at personal and professional front.

"Hello Fake saaliji ab Neo Industries ki Marketing section ki intern ho. I am not only your fake jeejaji but your boss. Kal se kaam pe lag jaayiye." He said.

" Main nahi karne wali internship ya kuch bhi. Mai Jaa Rahi hoon yaha se. Mujhe tumhari aur ye Tejo ki koi zaroorat nahi hai." Jasmine said.

"Aapko pata hai woh contract mein kya likha hua hai," he continued. "It's a confession. Aaj tak tumne jo bhi criminal activities ki hai uski confession. Agar aap kal se kaam pe nahi aayi mai uss document ki seedha police station mein submit kardoonga, Canada ka aapka sapna toh uuu.. udajayega hamesha hamesha ke liye." He imitated her style of saying Canada.

Tejo was so confused at what was happening around her since few minutes but she didn't question both. She understood that Angad has done something unexpected to bring out this emotion from Jasmine. She understood by bits and pieces but decided to sought out to clear explanation afterwards.

Jasmine had no other choice but to accept it. She felt like a slave or a bounded labour at the moment. Tejo looked relieved that her sister chose the right thing. She didn't want to ask about Fateh Tonight. Today's quota of brainy session was completed by Angad if she too starts questionnaire she will do something crazy.But as much as she has observed Jasmine was no longer wearing Mangalsutra, sindhoor or chooda. Where they fighting or God forbid have they parted ways? She questioned herself.

Meanwhile when Angad started to leave, Tejo requested him to wait for her. He agreed, he knew she has every right to know what happened

"Thank you Angadji, mujhe nahi pata ki aapne Jassu ko kaise handle Kiya lekin jo bhi kiya uski wajah se woh apne life mein aage toh bad sakti hai." Tejo said sincerely.

" Woh abhi bhi aapse bahut gusse mein hai, maine sirf Jasmine ke gusse ko thoda break laga diya. Par uski problem toh aap hi solve kar paogi Tejoji. Maine toh unhe apko zindagi bhar ke liye kho jaane ki Darr mein daal diya, tab jaakar unhe pata chala ki aap bhi important ho vunke liye warna toh woh aapko jaani dushman maan ne lagi" He said with a tone of concern.

For the first time in these few days he sounded normal. She was happy for him. She tried to concentrate on what he was saying but she was overwhelmed when he was speaking normally.

"Itna filmy ban ne ki zaroorat kya haii." Tejo asked.

"Filmy nahi Tejoji. Mujhe Jasmine ko dekh ke darr aagaya kahi woh meri tarah Zindagi bhar tadapte baite ki uski ek laparwahi se apne ko kho dena ka galti na kar baite."

She understood that he was trying to tell his past to her. She wanted to know it,she was actually dying to know it since the party . She listened to him quitely.

"I have told you earlier ki mera koi nahi hai ab, par teen saal pehle baat hi kuch aur thi. Mere bhayya Arjun and mere bhabhi mujhe kabhi maa papa ka naa hone ka ehsaas nahi hone diya karte the. Vunke beti Riya toh meri jaan thi. Bhayya ne college ke time se hi business handle Kiya hai. College ke baad mai bhi business sambhalne laga. Meri laparwahi thi maine bhayya ko inform nahi kiya ki car ke brake toh fail hai. Aur uss wajah se bhayya bhabhi ka accident hogaya." He let out a sob. He sat down on the porch. She sat beside him but didn't try to stop him from crying.

"Riya ki nani galat nahi hai. Kahi na kahi mai zimmedar hoon vunki death ki. Ye baat mujhe bahut pareshan karti hai aaj bhi. Chahe jitne therapy sessions mein participate karoon ye baat ko mai kabhi nahi bhula sakta. Par Jasmine toh Jaan booch kar ye sab kar rahi hai sirf apse badla lene ke liye, ek din woh agar chahe bhi na uss guilt se kabhi bahar nahi aa sakti." He said looking into her eyes. His eyes looked tired.

Tejo was speechless, she wondered how a person like Angad still manages to smile and make others smile hiding all those scars and sorrows of past.

They sat there for a while in silence till the weather grew even colder. He asked her to take rest and told her to be ready as tomorrow he was planning to visit his cousin's marriage at gurudwara in Gurdaspur in the morning. Tejo was halfway towards the out-house. She saw Angad running towards her,

"Tejoji" he called her and walked halfway towards her." As small favour can you please pretend to be my fiancè for real. Mere papa ke bahut saare friends hai waha par aur vun sab ne aapki woh Instagram ke post dekh chuke hai. Toh please for two hours please act like my fiancè" he requested her. She nodded in agreement.

True😆 honestly I am fed up with this show, I have been watching this show since Fatejo's marriage, I loved Priyankit's chemistry onscreen and offscreen(few of their vlogs are like laughter riot). For me after JasFa EMA no matter what justification(we all know it is either qismat or Ibadat wala Ishq) makers give I am not ok with Fatejo reunion.It still gives wrong message.

I too can't watch this illogical mess anymore. KVG has been brilliant till now and I am sure he will be great as villain too if makers are planning that route.His exit is like my closure from this toxic show and toxic characters.
