Can someone just tell me, why is there is a hue and cry about Imlie accepting the 15L ka dress (supposedly) by Aryan and how it would go "against' her core character?

Can someone care to explain what are the Tripathis doing in the meantime?? Waha pe junta banke dekhne ke liye baithe hai? Can't they offer some decent pair of garments to Imlie? Ye Tripathi Niwas hai ya Tripathi Wax museum???

I mean usko gift thode hi na kar raha hai, he is compensating for the malfunction during a field job. Professionally, it isn't incorrect to accept. Knowing Aryan he would have quietly given it to Imlie, but considering Classless Chaturvedi is involved, she wanted to put her in place, isiliye shayad sabke saamne kiya.

Blue- Bridal lehenga hai issliye woh itna hai aur fir upar se AC ka show off and taunts to Imlie,so in that sense agar woh Imlie pehenti hai toh..... Would be bride Imlie hogi and jabki woh Aryan ne kharida hai so according to that Shadi ka joda Husband ke paise se.

Pink- Chahe jo bhi situation ho kapde dene mein aur lene mein but makers ko yahi hints de rahe hai ki ab sabse mehengi lehenga choli mein Imlie hi bride banegi.

Meri apni theory 🤣🤣🤣

Okay, a few more thoughts since I’m not multi-tasking anymore.

1. I do think that Aryan is going to end up helping Adi’s uncle, especially after the whole scene by the room with the T’s peeping in on that moment between Arylie.

2. The T’s really only use half a brain. They’re just there to be side pieces,l and provide commentary from the sidelines, it’s too bad the other characters aren’t better utilized.

3. Adi really is quite foregone. He’s so miserable in his pain he can’t see anything right. Legit though, what has Imlie done to deserve his ire? Aryan was literally saying everything we’ve been saying here - Adi is insecure. He can’t stand that Imlie is soaring without him, that she’s surviving, and not just surviving but also apparently thriving. I loved Aryan calling him out on that. I also just love that he knows her so much better than Adi, and he see her strength.

4. As pointed out from the scene in the rain by Exuberant_Soul which seems to now be foreshadowing, I think today’s conversation further reenforced that. Arylie will be on a whole different level love-wise. I’m glad they wrote a scene that very clearly showed the difference between the two.

5. Where does AC/T’s get their knives? She cut that fabric so effortlessly without Imlie even feeling it and no one noticing. I can’t ever get any of my knives/scissors to cut anything that effortlessly.

6. This has been discussed but again, Aryan’s values show - he apologized when it was necessary to apologize. He recognized that it wasn’t the best thing to do, but in the moment it was the thing he felt he had to do for her.

7. I feel bad for Imlie though, there’s just so much happening around her. When does she get to process all the feelings? I get it’s ITV, just keep pushing forward, but Imlie needs a break.

8. Why is the outfit hung out like that in the middle of the celebrations?! 🤨 that was weird. I get why for story-related purposes but so odd.

I remember a scene between meethi & Satyakam after Adilie wedding when both decide to come to Delhi to meet the T fam. SK while packing stuff found a doll that meethi had made as a symbol of Dev. She used to talk to it. He got really angry, sad & felt heartbroken that even after all these years she hadn't moved on. He had a hope that may be someday she would see how much he loved her & valued her. He tore the bus ticket & said hum tumhare saath nhi arhe tum akeli chali jao. He even directly told how disappointed he was with her that day for still waiting for a man who never cared for her feelings. He just wanted to shake her up & tell her how much he love her. Meethi on the other hand knew all along that SK loved her. She valued, trusted & respected him but just couldn't reciprocate his love simply coz she thought that she wasn't good enough & he deserved better.😭

If makers are indeed trying to draw parallels between Meethi Satyakam & AryLie then I'd love to see something like this in future. ❤️
