I agree, more than anything he definitely fell for the physical traits than the inner qualities of manu but usually these kinds of affairs or relationships don't last much long irl either (tho might be a different case for india like you said) so I just found it hard to connect with him. I just can't imagine the day he actually falls for Meety how strong those feelings would be if he's this much obsessed with this manu so that's the only thing keeping me glued to this show.

its you and me who knows how Vile is Manushi… he is hurt by Manushi running away… he didn’t get proper closure… he has no reason to believe that Manushi is this scheming and lying person… or a gold digger…all his anger is also very superficial… and now her claims that her sister is the reason of her running away… he doesn’t dislike her .. he just hate her for humiliating him…

so if you just think as a person who never dated anybody and found this perfect life partner with whom everything was going smoothly… you have imagined your whole life… your future and everything… and that person goes missing on wedding day and another person whom you actually dislike is forced on you…. who does not exactly fit the bill or the mould you have imagined your life partner to be …

.later on you learned ok that person is a really nice person … very giving, thoughtful and gentle.. and have faced hardships in life and still full of life … you befriended that person and out of your own guilt said that you will give this marriage a chance… trying to move past the bad memories of first and last unrequited love… but then suddenly you find the said person standing in front of you.. claiming that the very person whom you want to move forward with is the reason behind her being torn away from you… you don’t want to trust that person but your love and deep seated care doesn’t let you disbelieve her either…. and that’s the dilemma….

Why do i feel like we aren't even half done with the HM tracks. They still need to reveal the tej stuff after all and they will prolly show more of manu third wheeling for a few epis. But I would like it to end asap at this point lol.

It's like he gets a panic/anxiety attack when he sees Manushi. He starts getting flashbacks, he becomes sad and violent, he starts shivering and he zones out as if he just came face to face with his trauma. That's the effect she has on him. And since last 2 episodes, there has been a reference to fire. Him saying 'main khud k aag mein jal na jau' . Then today extinguishing the candle with his hand (burning his hand )

I think the fact that meety and manu are both sisters is also making him more confused because how can one be so giving while the other is absolutely ratchet so I don't entirely blame him for what he's going through.

We can only hope that he finds his peace and is able to move on from the thoughts he is mangled between as soon as he could.

exactly… he doesn’t know the complete truth… he doesn’t know that the date or proposal that he has done, she wasn’t happy with that as she expected expensive jewelry…. he doesn’t know that the voice which he thinks of Manushi is not hers … he doesn’t know that she left him for another man… or she got married twice.. or she doesn’t respect anyone… she doesn’t have a good bone in her body….
