These writers are so inconsistent but why put such specific references to Manjari talking about carrying Abhi in her “payt” and not hearing him cry after birth if he’s not her biological child? Manjari is a dimwit but she doesn’t seem to be a such a cold blooded liar. It’s a very natural mom thing to fondly reminisce about childbirth and pregnancy to their grown kids. I also think Harsh would not love Abhi so much if he wasn’t “khoon”. And Mahima is clearly jealous Manjari produced a doctor beta when she herself couldn’t - would she care so much if Abhi wasn’t Manjari’s actual son? Truthfully this whole thing has holes but they’ve set it up for Abhi to be a natural son - whether they forget their own logic and change things up, well that has happened before!

I had doubts about when I thought is there a possibility that Abhi is not Manjari's son. Now I think he is definitely Harsh's son but might not be Manjari's. Probably why she is so over compensating with her motherly love for him. Why she is so desperate to prove she is a good mom and deserves him. I also think Manjari pushing Abhi to marry ( her falling sick at the prospect of him being a forever bachelor due to his unrequited love) is because she is scared that she failed in her duty as a mother in ensuring her son settled down, rather than giving primacy to his happiness. It's all about herself, and her motherhood and not about Abhi and his happiness.

The scene where she says, after he was born he didn't cry for a few minutes, I thought he is totally her son. But it could be that, Harsh had an affair or his ex-wife's health was so bad, the plan was already in motion that Manjari was going to raise the new born as her kid. And she probably looked forward to his birth so she can be a mom finally.

And in the next scene after she says this, is Abhi hugging her and telling her not to break his trust. And I think those words really hold some power.

To answer the question whether she is cold blooded liar. I don't know. She is like the most inconsistent character ever. So, it's possible.

Also, the ma-beta relationship between Abhi and Manjari is a bit unhealthy, don't you think? So obsessed they are with each other.

Well someone commented about Manjari talking about carrying Abhi for 9 months in her womb blah blah..that woman can't lie to save her life so unfortunately maybe she is Abhimanyu's biological mother.

She's overcompensating with her motherly love because she has nothing else to do all day every day. Harsh doesn't let her in, Mahima does her own thing. Kaun bacha? Chidkole phas gaya.

Theory 1 makes the most sense. Why would Harsh marry Manjari otherwise..behosh hoke bhi na kare.

Theory 2 - Manjari having a kid before marriage just doesn't go with her character. Usse ye nahi ho payega

Theory 3 - The way she worships Harsh, I don't think she had any person in her life before him.

For now, the adoption track is lame. Randomly Manjari panicking about Neil going to her cupboard..dropping papers and Akshu picking it and putting it in some file..I'm not really feeling the suspense as a viewer rightly should.

Yeah he is definitely a liar and in Abhi’s case he’s obviously proud of his being a star doctor in the hospital. From how he treats Neil, I’m just inferring he wouldn’t be so indulgent to Abhi if he was an adopted child. Also he doesn’t care WHO saved Abhi but I think he does care Abhi was saved. It’s hard to keep things straight though when the plot just takes random twists and turns without logic.
