What do you think about the new disease?

I gather that you are pointing towards Ebola Virus Disease.

As they depicted in the show, it is endemic in certain countries in Africa.

Especially in Congo and in 2014 there was a huge outbreak in West Africa (Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia).

Recently there was an outbreak in North Kivu (Congo) which was the place the lady returned from, in the show.

It can be highly fatal depending on the strain of the virus.

Ebola is essentially a notifiable disease i.e., it has to be reported to concerned authorities; even more so as it is not found within India and can only come here from the outside.

From your username, I guess either you're a doctor or a doctor to be😎.... how do you find the show so far? Is it close to reality? (put romance apart lol😆)

Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Chichi, may I know your name? :)

Am currently pursuing MBBS.

The team's effort in researching into the medical part is sincere.

I have learnt things I might have never known by watching the show.

Dr Sinha's character is very inspiring. 😎

The cast is wonderful; 👏

And the idea that it's a finite show, is promising.

This gives us hope that the story wouldn't have irrational changes to it and that it shall remain pristine.

I feel they've been right on point.

The tension was real. It was a relief to know that in Dhadkan, the doctors and patients survived the onslaught.

It can have a variety of symptoms. Earlier it was known as a hemorrhagic fever, but know it is called EVD as not all patients bleed.

Glad to help you. :)
