In the FC interview, Samantha said she manages her own SM accounts. I don't believe her, but I'll play along:

For (a), let's assume the offending post was in the 25% of the posts Sam did read. Sam would have had to read through 25% of 930 posts = 233 posts. Do people do that?

Popular and thin-skinned Sam would have had to be eagle-eyed to spot the malicious post, unless censorship-happy Parag Agarwal has included words such as "gentleman" in the banned word list on twitter. On the other-hand, it would be much easier to find a needle in a haystack if one planted it there/arranged to plant it there, oneself.

Unpopular but thin-skinned Sam would have no problem finding that tweet.

The timing and content of the offending tweet are curious: there have been so many articles on Sam not receiving a single rupee in alimony, you'd think the poster would have found a more believable criticism. It also comes at a time when she is coming in for a lot of criticism for her item song so she needed a Savithri Sam moment: cue, her response. The picture accompanying the article is quite interesting too.

As her PR has been at pains to point out, she very reluctantly did the item song and only capitulated because Pooja Hegde had done one, so it must be ok.

Quite the follower is Sam but her PR will surely put out an article (if they haven't already) on Trailblazer Sam : the actress who ventures where others fear to tread.

When you are in public eye, you have to be prepared for such situations, not everyone is going to sign love ballads for you.

She has already established the fact that she hasn't taken any alimony and this divorce is not her fault, in a way she is the victim of a certain situation. What else she is trying to prove now?

Exactly! Why does she care so much what random strangers think of her? It seems that she has bought into her own hype and is going to extraordinary lengths to defend it.

About the "established that it is not her fault": it is clear that she and Chay do not have the same values. She is now free to find someone who does share her values. She should embrace it instead of responding to needle in haystack tweets she miraculously finds.

I have no clue what happened between them but I do have to admire the akkinenis and daggubatis for being so dignified with this fallout.

They never indulged in any mud slinging (even slyly) and respected the decision made despite each of them making several public appearances since the divorce

Why do all the men in acting world want to make it seem like their wives initiated the divorce? The way he frames his sentence makes it seem like she wanted it and not him. It's fuel to the fire and will get her more hate from his fans. Just own your decision If you get a divorce, don't be a wimp and hide behind your ex-wife. It's not a good look! 🥱

Sam's public outpourings of grief in interviews and on SM do not prove that she did not want the divorce initially or did not initiate a series of events that eventually culminated in it. Nor did the likelihood that her ex would be defamed, attacked in the media or on SM and portrayed in the worst possible light as a result of her posts and interviews, stop her.

After everything Sam has posted about the separation/divorce, unless one had followed ChaySam, one would think Chay a selfish, emotional abuser. Clearly, she wanted us to think that! Sorry, Sam: no dice!

As for Sam's grief: regret is a powerful source of grief. Regret for what one had and what one lost.

As for Chay's statement: it is possible he still loves her but is the one who eventually held firm on the divorce because their happiness could no longer be found together. That statement is likely to be the only statement from him on the matter.

Yes, there are men capable of sacrifice as there are women who believe their needs take precedence over all else. Whatever the disposition, there can only be consequences.

And no, he did not say it was ok to be separated as in something easily done: context matters.
