Monami back to square one got me frowning so bad. Normally I don't believe in violence but can someone shake her till her brain cells wake up and she stops this self-pity, toxic love and self-harm crap. She is a freaking Dr for goodness sake. And Karan no touchy-touchy... bol bhi sakta tha ki kaan ke peeche kuch laga hai.,.. in dono ka kuch nahi ho sakta. angst bhi dhang se nahi dikha sakte... 😒

I feel I like I wouldn't entirely blame him for his misogynist ways . What I mean is ki where he grew up having such a mentality is normal not that I'm saying it's ok but baat yeh hain ki mardo ko sadiyo sa yeh sikhaya hain ki they are the "mard" and being the knights in shining loha is their duty.

If you see he is not a bad guy just yeh ki uski soch uska environment jaaha woh paala baada ussa shaped hain when he was listening to sid talk and vise versa they both were surprised to think ki aisa bhi soch ho sakti hain . I loved how the makers showed how none of them were judgemental about eachother's opinion but instead were intrigued by it.

They might show the stark opposite personalities and the different mentalities and by the end of the track they might show kundan grow as a individual and realise how his limited perspective and viewpoint were wrong.

Sid has already triggered a positive change in him (of course, anjaane mein apne hi paer pe kulhadi wali situation). Kundan ji's ego will make him put up a fight but we have seen goodness in him and may be a willingness to accept new things. I hope makers don't turn him negative, keep him grey and show positive growth in his mindset in the upcoming episodes. So far none of our villains has gotten redemption, Kundan ji could be the first.

That's cauz they were supposed to be like that be it chirag who ran a organ trafficking racket or abhay.

Well that Rawat dude I don't count as a villan cauz he will probably be brought back and uska vaisa koi major scene nahi tha but kundan ka they have shown a positive streak to him.

After watching the precap I felt pity for Siddhart 😆He's setting up his own heartbreak. Bechaare ko jab pata chalega ki dost ki mangetar se to mai ilu ilu karta hu to uski duniya palat jaayegi.

Plus SidG is all about relationships...but what will he choose this time? Love or friendship?

And I'm kinda missing Koel.

And the old platonic bonds. :')

First he wants to make her feel better but was hesitant to touch, the very next moment he takes step towards her only to remove something from her hair that too with that so soft look mixed with attraction feelings.

Matlab editors kya Karan ke emotions ke saath Nadi-Pahad khel rahe editing karte waqt.

2 am thoughts, what I think Monami and Karan's current mind sets are:

Monami:

She really, really believed that Karan was in love with her as well. When you really believe something, it's hard to accept the opposite as truth, even with very clear statements and Karan's rejection was vague at best (regarding his feelings), with his 'Main tumhaare liye sahi nahi hoon', and 'Yeh nahi ho sakta hai', rather than 'Main tumse pyaar nahi karta' or even better, 'Main tumhaari care karta hoon, par tumhaare liye wo feel nahi karta'.

And the belief is only being strengthened, rather than being shattered, with Karan following her and trying to talk to her. She has no idea it's out of a place of being guilty and maybe care as a friend, rather than love.

She is really hurt by the heartbreak, and it's a very natural thing to avoid the person who has hurt you, and even more to avoid the topic that has hurt you.

She is trying to stay away from him and Karan just keeps appearing in front of her, making it harder for her to deal with it and accept that he doesn't love her, which is just making her angrier and hurt more because she can't understand why he is straight out rejecting the feelings that she is sure he has. Hence, the taunts in vague hopes that maybe the anger or constant saying might just bring what's in his heart, according to her, to his mouth. And of course, out of anger and hurt.

If Karan had left her alone, she might have slowly accepted and consider the fact that she was wrong and Karan really doesn't feel anything for her. But his constant approaches not only remind her of the heartbreak she hasn't moved on from, but also, keeps her from changing her opinion about his feelings.

Karan:

He genuinely cares for Monami. She has managed to wriggle into the small group of people that he cares a lot about like Faizi, Sanju, his Bhabhi, although of course, the comfort and ease aren't as well as with the others. (Baby is on another level, though. Monami hasn't reached that one yet.)

Unlike the others though, Monami doesn't stand by and let him drown in his guilt and attempts at being closed off, trying to pull him out. While some attempts are successful (like the one during Diwali) and some aren't (like the picnic scene when Karan yells at her and when he shot her), all of this does give her a special place in his heart to her.

Monami isn't like the others who easily lets go of the issues, like Faizi. She expects him to admit his mistake, and not just pour her anger out. She is more emotional and sensitive, and while she does try to understand him, she's hurt often times when he pushes her away. And since Karan does care about her, he doesn't want to see her hurt by anyone, and it's worse when he himself has hurt him.

He tries to fix his relationships (like the episode in the starting when Faizi was angry at him) but it's just harder for him as well to understand Monami. Since he can't find a way to fix this, he is just trying to talk to her in hopes of easing her pain.

He's not guilty about being rude (or at least not entirely). He's more guilty about having hurt a person he cared about and he has no idea what he should do.

This will be a very long post. Overthinking mind at work.

I also found it really irritating when she kept repeating "tumhe farak nahi padta/feelings nahi hai"

Uske POV se soche toh its normal behaviour.

Its her perception that he loves her too. Why?

1. Biggest reason-he stood up against her father & got her back to the academy,even after knowing that it could have dire consequences for him.

2. He came to rescue her & stood in front of the bullet meant for her.

3. Stayed back at the hospital to take care of her

4. Someone who said in initial episodes that he is not interested in her dance lessons, danced with her at her request. Also wore that teddy sling & came to the picnic.

5. Apologized to her for his misconception.

Karan may have done all of this out of guilt/duty but Monami doesnt know it. So for her, he did it out of love.

So she feels confident that he will accept her proposal and confesses to him.

Karan could have denied instead of saying " yeh ho nahi sakta/u deserve someone better/leave from here" He took a cop out.

Now next day is the competition and she needs to put up a strong front and work with a man who rejected her(& who is just denying to love her,as per her).She still kept strong and managed to perform well. But after the competition she went back to hugging her tree to reduce some of the pain,sadness she was feeling ,yaha bhi Karan aa gaya jisse she didnt want to face anymore and on top of that he says that she performed well even after what happened..that would have pricked her so much and she answered back.

Ab phir next day she doesnt really talk to him but talks to Faizi and she only talks to Karan regarding Sid.It is again Karan who brings back the issue by saying that she is always emotional in everything. Someone who is still raw from the pain will definitely react and see the comment as heartless.

Then we come to yesterday's scene jaha par Karan could have called her name but nahi,he touched her & came close to her.

The girl cant catch a break.There is no outlet to express whatever she is feeling because everywhere he is there. There is no time to process or come to terms with it.

Its easy to say that she should move on but I dont think its that easy for someone who is feeling it to just turn off her emotions.

Monami has always been shown too emotional and which is her character flaw/point of growth and as much as I dont like her saying it again & again to Karan about her love rap,I dont think as a character she is wrong.

Sid:-

Why did Sid say that Monami needs to be patient and that Karan loves her?

as per his POV,Karan

1.Stood up for Monami against her father. Biggest point in his favor

2.Was really affected when he could not bring back Monami and punished himself for it.

3.Stayed back in hospital to take care of her

4. Punished her(during Koel track) but was looking after her because he knew she was disturbed.

5.Sid has seen him admiring Monami & showing concern for her.

Sid has always looked after Monami and this all came as a surprise to him when Karan did all this. Now he doesnt know Karan's past or reason for his actions so he concluded that Karan does love Monu and he was just denying it.

Both dont know Karan's past (Monami just knows bare minimum details) so they cant understand his actions. Again this I am saying as per their characters and not as a viewer.

Karan:-

He himself admitted that he has never allowed any positive emotion in his life after his brother's death. Nor does he know how to speak softly/sensitively to anyone as he sees everything as a mission.

He doesnt love Monami because he has never thought about it. He liked her company and was changing because of her. He could do everything on his own terms and was enjoying their "friendship" but Monami changed everything by confessing. It changed his perception towards her and forced him to re-evaluate everything.

How could anyone love him? He might have presented a strong exterior but he was a mess from inside. He had high walls and didnt allow anyone entry.Why did she still love him?

Now that she decided that she would keep her distance,he could not tolerate it. There was no longer light surrounding him and he was left all alone.

Monami is good at expressing whatever she is feeling but Karan is not. She performed well but he could not concentrate at all. He wanted to make everything right b/w them but words said cannot be taken back. He did mess up saying things to her,although he didnt mean it in that way.

He was affected by her ignorance and was trying to make her talk. Even yesterday he was a bit abrupt when she finally decided to talk to him about going to rescue Sid(like,now she finally decides to speak to me..) and phir usne galat bol diya.

He has never initiated any touch (not counting Koel rescue wala dinner scene) but this time he did,chakravyuh main bhi and yesterday also.Yesterday he could have called her by name but he touched her and came close to her. She had finally decided to distance herself from him & he could not bear that.

Jab he said that he doesnt feel anything for her then why to come close to her and cause her more pain(this is as per Monu's POV)

Karan is equally a mess but Monami is the one who is showing it outwardly.

He may not love her now but he definitely feels something for her and that will only increase once he tells about his past and I think either third angle or some other situation will happen in their track where Karan will finally need to decide what his heart wants and if someone/something decides to take Monami away from him then he will do all in his power to let no one take her away from him.

I saw people on twitter comparing it with Sid's heartbreak. That was a totally different scenario. Sanjana didnt know him at all and he still went on about staying there and not leaving her.It was a wrong approach which he rectified. With MoRan it is different because they did have an equation.

Very long post but this is what I felt after seeing the last few episodes.
