I think for a lot of people, GM-ST created such a beautiful dynamic as Adi-Imlie, in 2 people who could not be more mismatched, that they are finding it too difficult to move on! Adi up until PD3 and immediately after shaadi revelation was just amazing. I think that is the Adi people want to hold on to (including me, and it is Gash to boot!!), and are hence making excuses for his poor behavior! 🤷‍♀️

Date rape is a very real thing, and hence my grievance TP. Cause the handling is so so wrong. And the most disappointing aspect is when your own wife is choosing to give you justice and you without asking her consent, deleted evidence. People fear reporting such incidents, and Aditya, the rebel reporter running a justice league of his own, does this. It is outrageous. Such a sensitive issue has been desensitized and mocked by the very serious patrakaar who once upon a time fought in a mall for the rights of Imlie because she was ill treated.

What Aditya did is a crime, he misused Imlie's trust in him and expected her to abide by his choices. That is disrespectful of the wife you claim to love and whose honor you chose to uphold. She almost lost her chance at completing her education because of that, if KC hadn't intervened. You play with your own life, but not with a girl's future.

I don't like abusing Aditya. He has brought it upon himself. He had just begun rectifying his errors when he just screwed everything over for a weak and imbecile woman who cannot let go of a toy. No victim deserves to marry their perpetrator. But I want him to. The agony of every day going in rewind and wanting to rectify his screw-ups, and not being able to do it, is the punishment he deserves because he deliberately let go of the choice to make it right by his wife. Aditya lost my respect the day he deleted evidence and that was an obituary of a once principled, morally upright serious patrakaar.

Absolutely Time ji, Date rape was not at all necessary if they were planning to do this with his character. He deserves hell for his indifference towards Imlie's pain and suffering but he does not deserve a life sentence with his perpetrator. As much as it is a relief to watch Imlie these days, it is becoming harder to watch Adini wedding preparations. I for one will be happy if Imlie moves on but can't watch Adi ji getting stuck into that whirlpool of disgust and manipulations. If Imlie ever moves on, then his character too deserves a way out. No one deserves, what he is made to be today. There was a time when this character was truly loved by everyone in the FD.

Makers have made mockery of such a sensitive issue here that no one knows how to comprehend or cope with storyline. The rasa of watching the serial is completely gone. It becomes all the more tragedy when the victim does not know that his body was exploited. If we talk about Adi ji only, then regardless of Adilie happening or not, he should get justice.

It's funny we are all actually saying the same thing, albeit from completely different perspectives! The pro-Adi faction is blaming the writers for butchering his character while the anti-adi faction is personally blaming Adi, which is technically blaming the writers since Adi is not a real person, and is a figment of the writers' imagination! :-)

In a bid to keep the drama going and keep all the characters of the triangle employed and relevant, I think the makers had to bring in the pregnancy angle and tap into the sentiments of maa ko kaise jail bheje nonsense, and hence the very flimsy reasoning that Anu is the one who drugged everyone and Malini is also a victim of her mother's evil scheming. It is still not clear if Adi, after watching the video actually believed Malini did rape him or not.(this is not my defense of Adi or anything, but just pointing out what I think happened in the show!). That is probably the makers' way of justifying Adi's stance about not wanting to send Malini to prison.

At this point, it does seem like either the makers want to or Gash himself wants to reduce his screen space, and in a bid not to lose audience (many of whom are in it for Adilie, let's face it!!), they are trying to butcher his character as much as possible, so people will just give up on him (and possibly Malini) and smoothly transition to Aryan and Imlie while not losing audience.

I don't know if a new set of writers took over after 300 episodes, but they really poorly handled the character arcs of whomever they wanted to butcher by just completely throwing them under the bus - be it Malini or Adi.

yes Both Adi and imlie disappointing me to the core.. i had many expectation from time to time but yet i am giving them benefit of doubt whatever they have done those r mistakes where they both r suffer equally n no one is happy..their love is pure but MU, situations , fate ,nadani , ignorance today made their life hell... so they both deserves a redemption n happy life

as per ASR , shuru mein he was just a random ckt for me..but when i saw makers r very much interested to build a couple n trying to show how much ASR is big hero infront of ginehagaar AKT n he is portrayed as mahan atma , imlie's mentor guidance then i started to notice .. n found how much he is resemble with malini in action and words ..his ckt still not opened up but uske loops ko selectively ignore kia jata hain so i just try to point out his hypocricy n his ckt arch

it is not about expectation, non expectation just an opinion of his ckt on basis of what makers r trying to show

For me, if Aryan is a smart villain then also it is fun and entertaining.😊 Compared to Malini, he is a relief and refreshing for me.

Regarding Adi and Imlie, I see Adi more wrong than Imlie. I don’t have issue with Adi having blind faith on Malini or wanting to take responsibility of his baby. My issue with Adi is that he is not giving Imlie’s concerns and worries the consideration that it needs. He is brushing off all of her worries as insecurity and sibling rivalry. My issue is even if Imlie is simply being insecure and Malini is innocent, isn’t it Adi’s duty as a husband to make sure that he makes her feel secure? His solution is she concentrate on him, that doesn’t solve issues, he should do his part, which sadly he never did. He only does that for Malini because of his baby. Then he should make it clear to Imlie that when it concerns his baby, she should never expect anything from him, because not even once he has put Imlie above the baby. He doesn’t have to ignore his baby, but he definitely needs to find a balance between Imlie and his baby and it’s mother which he is too dense, over confident to do.
