Why would you be shocked - it’s hardly a scandalous opinion. Though certainly a minority one on here - most are pro Teja without an ounce of “fairness” to Karan. It is ok, once in a blue moon, for someone to prefer Karan over Teja LOL. And nowhere have I claimed that Karan has never been wrong. The man is as flawed as the next person.
@bold - where has Teja been bad vis a vis Karan then according to you? Because I don’t believe I’ve read an opinion from you where you’ve opined on how bad Teja has been in this context. Though I may have missed it - I’m hardly here these days.
I don’t toss around labels like MCPs etc on a whim - and in fact find it as sad and convenient that they’re tossed around thus as I did when Teja was s**t shamed for chipkoing to Karan. Regardless - that’s simply my view and I’ve stated it previously - and I have no issue with your opposite one.
As I’ve said multiple times, I’ve always found Teja to be a walking talking drama company - constantly playing to the galleries. She doesn’t decide her stands and convictions based on right or wrong or personal values - but rather based on how much potential there is for “looking good” to the audience. I also find her highly sanctimonious and conniving - traits common in the mahaan devis of the last few seasons - and they do not enamor me. And as of her “Salman said I was right weekend” - she’s been utterly unbearable in her fakery and constant sympathy mode.
I get that you disagree - but to each their own.

I agree with every flaw you mentioned about Teja. I also agree both Karan and Teja are in competition and should fight for it. It is nothing wrong when they are against each other.I also agree Teja picks and choose what issue should she support or ignore that works for her benefit. When ask explanation on WKV, she losses Salman and audience support when she makes it all about herself by using sentences like “I reacted first….I was the one…..me…my stand…..myself was…”.
I am not going to list every bad quality of Karan, as it is not in the interest of this topic. I accept Teja with all her flaws and I also accept Karan with all his shortcomings.
I was neutral on both at beginning of the show. I started picking sides gradually because of following actions of Karan
- First incident after WKV task where it was Teja vs Shamita. Karan supported Teja. But as soon as task is over, he goes to sort things with Shamita, it is not wrong everyone does that including Teja. But he ends up portraying Teja as bacchi and trying to show his action to support Teja out of sympathy.
I gave Karan benefit of doubt as this was first incident.
But as show progressed, I have seen Karan disrespecting Teja behind her back many times. Then he starts asking Teja to not talk to others and he goes and sucks up to same people. Karan expects Teja also to suck up to others like he does. For example in Teja’s fight with Rashmi. Karan does not stand for Teja. Teja defended Karan many times. In few previous task also Karan has gone against Teja. Regardless of task or not I have seen Karan sucking up to Shamita when she has no interest to share her side of strategy. Nishant was also against him many times in the task. But Karan can sort his relations but he has problem if Teja does.
Current task, ticket to finale Karan has no choice but to align with whoever will be not supporting Teja and it is all fine. But based on Karan’s past actions, I find him very insecure when he targets Teja, Teja with all her flaws comes across better person for me.
I am not saying no one sucks up to other in this show. everyone does including Shamita and Teja. But Karan ends up pleasing others by disrespecting his friends like he called Umar gadha.
Anyway, I have to get back to work, it is busy day.
SP - I know you have said you don’t want to debate and even If you do, I am not expecting to win this argument front of you. 😆 😆 Hope next season we are on same sides. 😊
