Abhi has lost it

What happened to that sorted, intelligent, confident doctor we saw in the opening episodes? Killed by bad soapy writing - now we have to deal with this angry, unreasonable, confused mess.

He cannot use his handsome noggin to put one logical thought into place. He has seen Aarohi vent on Akshu on more than one occasion, he has seen how pushy and self-obsessed she is. He himself can't stand her. He's seen Akshu is all about the fam, is so sensitive that she has panic attacks, and yet he cannot put two and two about why Akshu can't confess her love to him, even when she looks at him like a lovesick calf 😒

He talks about being straightforward and talking directly - he is yet to have even ONE direct and clear conversation with Akshu. He's about as clear as Delhi air in the winter and just as toxic😔

He is making insanely impulsive decisions. A successful surgeon in his 30s telling his parents he will marry anyone - really? Anyone? One ad and hundreds of eligible PR-suitable lady doctors in India would have been lining up to impress Papa Birla to get their shot! But sure, marry the one woman who will ensure he is never rid of Akshara.... (this is nothing new - used to be the Goenka's couldn't find anyone to marry who wasn't a Singhania. Now obviously the Birlas will look no further than the Goenkas for their matrimonial choices)

He's beating up strangers and breaking public property - why he's not in prison on assault and battery is anyone's guess...

He rage-eats an entire box of mithai and regurgitates bad 90s songs - inspired by him even I have been binging on my roommate's ice cream in irritation at this show

He's so out of it, he even showers with a towel on😳🤣

To heck with Abhi - till the writers come to their senses it's time to get my HC fix by revisiting his older shows. As for the writers, the usual hacks like Dimri and Bhavna aside, did this new lady writer really tweet she didn't cast HC in her show because he wasn't dark and brooding enough? Um, take a look in the dictionary under 'dark and brooding' and you'll find a picture of Sahir Azim Chaudhry🤔

Hopes are fading that these jokers will do any justice to Abhi's character anytime soon...

Tyag ki Mahan atma bankar he is not giving fake smilies like akshu..he is hurting n it shows in his impulsive behavior.. with all his weaknesses , he still comes across as more human and realistic. N idc for arohi please. She wanted it , she has it and she is happy with it. As for akshara , she deserves it more than anyone else. She is not a victim for me. If I didn't hate arohi this much, I would be enjoying arohis dreams also 🤪

I don’t really care about Akshara - she’s a boring Naira-lite MarySue. As for Aarohi, she’s a wicked stepsister cardboard cutout character. We’re meant to cheer for her humiliation (gross on a whole other level - why make her a topper and a doctor, make her a tharki like Ruby).

It’s a shame they’re using a fine actor like Harshad in this poorly written role. A surgeon needs to have a lot of maturity and self control as they constantly deal with volatile situations and people. Abhi’s behavior is not vulnerable or realistic to me - it’s borderline psychopathic. If people saw a doctor on social media beating up a stranger and breaking chairs and screaming at his father in public, that persons career would be over. Kaun jayega uss doctor se surgery karwane?
But anyway it’s a tv character - everyone’s opinions are valid and we all enjoy discussing our own take
