Morally outraged

Perturbed by recent events in the show, I have also decided to join in the self- righteous, moralising bandwagon and do my bit for women’s rights.

So, where is the justice for Donal who was apparently called Donalhub by Karan and who was invited to sit in Karan’s lap by Teja.

Is it because Bichkule is from maybe a lower social class that it is easier to condemn him while the equally crass and sexually demeaning things Karan and Teja said have been swept under the carpet.

As a Sana fan, there is so much irony in what is happening in the show and the forum.It is interesting how some folks who had the most demeaning and derogatory things to say both in the show and forum have now morphed into defenders of women's respect. But hey, we wouldn't have hypocrisy if we didn't have moral outrage.

Teja suffers the most from holier than thou sanctimony so it stands to reason that she would be the most hypocritical.

Dere was one more incident where she wid her gang were commenting on Donal's waist...Teja was saying to Karan uski qamar nahi dikh rahi hai aaj...when he said dikh rahi hai...she wanted him to tell her utni nahi dikh rahi...sumthing along dose lines 🤢

I am glad someone brought up what happened with Donal! The most bizarre thing was arguments like Donal too was enjoying it

Did donal raise this issue.. I just wanna clarify.. atleast after coming out has she mentioned some where she was uncomfortable.

But what I noticed after the comment on kamar.. she maintained distance from Kundra .

Those days audio was Terrible could not hear many things clearly.

This is how movements like Me Too are trivialised by selectively choosing who this movement can be applied to.

I am not sure if she did but the problem is in the disparity in the response to equally offensive statements based on who said them and who they were said to.

Were this things aired on TV ? I only remember Karan's comment on the qamar thing and people rightly bashed him for that and Donal too for not telling him when she was still in the show. Rest I don't even know if it was aired as I skip episodes. If not aired then obviously the reaction won't come from the viewers who perhaps watch only the episodes. It gets hard to see that they aren't saint either if we don't get to watch it.

In this age of social media, things don't need to air on TV to become viral. It was always going to be easy to target a Bichkule than a Karan or Teja.
