I wonder if the newfound friendship btwn Narmada and Aparna will get affected once they realize Aparna’s ex DIL and Narmada’s “kati meethi” are one-in-the-same

Also, it’ll be interesting to see how Aru’s family reacts to Arpita romancing with Sundar. If they are accepting of him, another man for Arpita, from the beginning then that will be a major contrast from how T&C’s treated Imlie and AdiLie

Hm that's to be seen, if the Rathores let the social status come in between arpi-sundar story

Aryan will blow the roof initially as he's overprotective of his sis, but eventually if arylie can happen then what's the problem with sundar-arpi?

Aparna - narmada was discussed in other thread, as I said it's a dark humour of makers ..

Both mothers bonded over praying to matarani to solve the problems in their son's life without realising that their son's are that problem in life of other 😆

ah yes, thread one. But now friendship has progressed to the point where both families will meet & be in the same space. We have yet to see if Aryan’s family holds Aditya responsible for inciting the crowd (indirectly/directly) during the factory probs

No I don't think so...

Women do not think like that ...

They believe in destiny and higher power... Only men are arrogant enough to think they can plan and avenge everything!

women can hold grudges. While they (Narmada & Arpita) might not want revenge, they might feel pain at seeing Aditya bc he’s connected to a traumatic moment in their lives. They could associate him with a bad time of their lives.

plus, AC and Malini are case and point that women, too, can try to plot and avenge whatever wrongs they feel have been done unto them

I think the bold might just be the case. They always show how they operate through their reactions. Like Narmada and Arpita's reaction to Aryan and Imlie coming back after being out all night and looking like they hadn't slept at all.

I have one reservation with the AryLie marriage scenario — will they create it only to for them to part? So far marriages in this show have not stood the test of adversity, time or trust 🥲 I would hate for them to create AryLie but not allow them to be “endgame”.

I believe, and all the posts thus far are clear examples of why, Aryan is different. How Imlie is growing,”. That the trajectory of AryLie is different and how there are many parallels that yield this union to be better.
I just hope that AryLie stay authentic and keeps its integrity

Again the bold. This is why I want a slow progression. Otherwise they will fire through most of the plot and be left at the same place they are right now with the original triangle.

ps - a few pages back you mentioned that he must have had some therapy and dove into self-help post Arvind's death. And that based on flashbacks he always seemed like an emotionally adjusted and empathetic person. Yes to both. I just love that observation. It's necessary for a healthy relationship. You can see these qualities and wins in how he approaches life. I'm a sucker for a man who is in touch with his feelings.

Sounds awful, Aryan is so domineering Imlie would be deeply unhappy. She would be moulded and controlled in everything she did - horrible. And the nasty faction like the Chaturvedi's would just call her a gold-digger as she would have appeared to go after money which she has always professed no interest in. Anu would be their friend as she would see them as her high society people.

I don't want Imlie to be with rich folk, it would demean her.

Also, I don’t think human nature is a gender thing. Perhaps the convo is more so nature versus nurture
