Whether or not, the person says sorry and matter is over. It's not that she really slapped him and said sorry.

Not defending the women who didn't take an out and out stand yday, but yes, while both the incidents are not same at all, that days incidents and words like kutia, pair ki jooti and gandi naali showed what he thinks of women in general and that if some women did become friendly with him he would not think twice before construing a meaning that is convenient to him and would think that it's the girl who is asking him for those things! His mindset is that the girl is friendly with him hence she is asking for it. he wouldn't dare. Ask for puppi from shamita or teja or Rashmi.

So yeah not similar, but it did reflect on what kind of a person he was and if that day he wasn't defended by half of the housemates and the host, if that day he were pulled up, today this may not have happened.

And no it's not even common amongst friends as well! I don't see Umar asking for a kiss from Rashmi or teja. Or Pratik from shamita!
