He is wrong as a husband but he is not posing as a good man. He is helping a pregnant woman, especially that woman whom he had put in this position by killing her husband. Helping her is okay but should have done keeping his family and wife informed. I can’t say his actions are far away from being good. We can say that if he was doing it with some wrong intentions or because he wants to get close to Shruthi. He is a dumb and insensitive guy who fails to think how will Sai feel due to all this. He is also a hypocrite since he couldn’t tolerate Ajinkya or any guy’s name from Sai’s mouth but is right now given his name as someone else’s husband whom he is meeting, hiding from everyone. I am surprised Virat posing as a husband to another woman is being supported. Truly this man has been loved beyond reasonings by the fans just because he poses as a good man. Poses as a man with good intentions and however his actions are far away from being good.

Exactly my take too. Making Shruthi a Naxalite is the unneccessary complication there.
The main problem is his insensitivity towards Sai and ofcourse his hypocrisy.
And the elephant in the room - why pose as her husband?
Because he doesn’t have words like sister or brother in his dictionary 😂. Even when he got married to Sai, I wasn’t happy with him marrying her even though it looked nice. If we think about it, I felt that he was wronging Sai by putting such conditions. He could have become her guardian and taken her responsibility rather than marrying her setting such unreasonable conditions. If it wasn’t Sai and anyone else, if the story is not a Sairat story, if Sai was to enter his wife later, would we have been okay if he had married someone else like this? Just because it was Sairat, we were able to accept it even. The push and pull was nice but in reality, marrying a girl who has just finished her school is all too much. There are girls who get married early but why should one for the position Sai was in? It usually happens due to family pressure or family tradition where they get the daughters of their house married early. In this case, Virat could have found some other way for the same 🤦♀️. Now Virat is helping Shruthi, later he will help Pakhi if she loses her husband? There is a limit and one has to draw lines. Well the whole point is in the name of good intentions, he justifies everything in his mind. while if the copy the part where Imon aided Jagtap, ROno got extremely furious. How does that work then. Doctors can still treat a criminal, but can policemen hide/help criminals?

While I agree with all your points, I will still give SaiRat marriage (& Virat) a pass as creative liberty.
The villagers refuse to let him take care of Sai unless he marries her. He understands the villager's conservative attitude but the same 'understanding' of the social stigma doesn't prevent him from thinking what will happen to Sai's marital prospects after a sham marriage with him. I don't expect even Virat to do something like this in such a conservative society. So the entire premise of SaiRat in a temporary marriage and living in the same room as husband-wife in the eyes of the world is laughable. I will take with a ton of salt - how will the story begin then?😆If we had used reason at the time of SaiRat marriage, we would have outright rejected Virat's integrity and character - he won't even be worth the criticism you just expressed. 😆
