No, my point is that Adi said SK shot him, SK said the same thing, so there was no question of Imlie choosing to believe SK over someone else. This was not a scenario of Adi saying SK shot me and Imlie saying SK would never do that, you are misunderstanding. My only point was.....She did not choose anyone else but she did choose without any proof and only on the basis of her trust on SK is what I am saying. It is the same as Adi having faith in MC, the trust that is beyond proofs. Just like SK and Imlie.
I don't agree with Imlie letting SK escape, but I could understand her. When you think from what she has experienced so far, the police were never SK's allies, they were always out to crucify SK. while commissioner and minister uncle are Malini's allies. So, if SK goes to jail without proving Malini's involvement, only SK would be punished for it, Malini will go free. Imlie's demand was first send Malini to jail and she will send SK to jail after that. Agree to everything and she was right to demand for equal punishment too but then what should have been the course of action? MC cannot be arrested without SK's arrest. Imlie already lost her chance with Adi as she helped him escape before they could even discuss. Imlie made him escape and then told Adi about MC's involvement. By this time he had already lost that faith in her. Then what else was left for him to believe from Imlie. I am thinking from both their sides
And Imlie's this argument was proved one hundred percent right, when Malini was shot and SK was accused. The police didn't even bother to listen to Imlie's and his version. if they wanted they could have tested SK, Imlie and Malini for gun powder residue and found the real shooter, but since it was Malini and AC accusing SK, they believed them without any kind of investigation. Again agree with you but Adi would have helped if he did not have bad blood between him and SK because he earlier too helped him escape from police.
Adi can have blind faith in Malini, but when his wife is saying something contradictory, he should hear her out and give it the consideration that it requires. There was a theory that Adi doesn't even listen when Malini talks but it was proved that he listens and absorbs it all with the way he was quick to judge Imlie's relation to Aryan, and he doesn't listen to what Imlie is saying because Imlie already told him that her relation with Aryan was that of boss and intern, but he thinks they are having an affair.
Adi saw Aryan putting on a coat for Imlie. He walks off then berates himself that he could be misunderstanding then he decides to talk to Imlie and gets the divorce papers. My question to Adi is, why can't Imlie ask for a divorce because he is a crappy husband? Does Imlie have to have an affair with Aryan to ask for a divorce? In his head, he thinks Imlie will ask for a divorce only when she has found a better and richer man than him, why? Because Malini said so! Same pov, his blind trust in MC is killing everything within him and around him but here it is not just his faith but jis ego too and the notion that he is right and has the right to judge anyone and everyone. Like I said before his truth to be superior to others truth. MC has always stroked that ego and superiority complex of his and that is the reason for his extreme reactions. Even now when he is getting married, he is treating it like a race🤢
When I say he knows that he was raped, I mean that he knows all the fact, just like Imlie. Imlie told him every single thing that happened. That Malini told her, that Malini gave him drugs and Malini raped him. It is him that who refused to believe it. He cannot ever say that he didn't know he was raped! Because he was told countless times that he was raped and was given proof too! All he can say when he finds out is that, "I trusted Malini over Imlie! Imlie begged me to believe her but I chose to believe Malini" there is nothing else he can say when he is at a point where he can't ignore or turn a blind eye to whatever proof/Malini's confession he is given. Agree with everything but he doesn't consider himself as rape victim. His wife is telling him but he thinks that she is making it up because of God knows what reasons🤷♀️ Itne wahiyat reasons isne de hi diye hain toh iske liye bhi koi na koi reason diya hi hoga🤢yes, at the end he is going to be left with nothing but regret in the end and that is what I am waiting for
