Aryan showing up at T house was definitely weird and his presence was like lighting a sutali bomb which went boom in Aditya's mind.

TBH at some point in today's episode, I did think that maybe he could be doing all this as part of this revenge plan. But from the past episodes with Imlie and Malini he clearly said that he won't use Imlie as a weapon for revenge and that he doesn't need anybody's help! So with that premise, I think it was just his concern for her after seeing her breakdown the night before. And after hearing her story it kinda looks like he just wants her to move on with life.

Plus he really needed to be there otherwise story aage kaise badhegi, usse Imlie ki life story kaise pata chale gi, aur most importatly TRPs kaise milengi.

On the other hand though even if he wasn't there I think the story would have still progressed the same way. Adi was already aag ka gola from the office scene and had already made up his mind to marry Malini before Imlie showed up. Yeah, it would have taken a bit longer for the divorce papers to come out of the bag and finally get signed if Aryan wasn't there. Aryan just played a role of a catalyst.

The precap kinda made me sad 😔. But like SundariP and Exuberant_Soul mentioned it could be a different scenario than what is being shown. It could be that he doesn't know yet who Anu is (shayad usne AKT ki puri background nahi nikali hogi). She probably just came to meet him to discuss covering a high-profile wedding (you know doing the work of aag mein ghee dalo). He may be thinking that it would be better for her to be busy with work to get over this divorce. Not knowing whose wedding it is he probably just called Imlie to his office and eventually will find out that she is M's mother. I am seriously hoping he throws the cheque in her face or tear it and say - " Pehli baat aap ko dekh kar samajh aa raha hain ke phal pedh se zyada door nahi gira hain (not sure if I said that correctly), Dursi baat apni yeah cheap and disgusting tricks lekar agar app aur apki beti mere paas wapas aayi toh isshi check ki aap ko zyada zaroorat padegi kyunki tab tak mein aap ko puri tarah se barbad kar chuka hunga, aur teesri baat --(pause for effect) -- udhar rahi. "

Aryan as catalyst (I'm trying to remember my chemistry class, which element is best catalyst, I remember platinum but for which reaction I don't remember, but it suits Aryan... Classy ❤️)

I think he followed Imlie because she ran out of the office like a crazy person. He feels very protective towards her. I think that he also has such a negative view of Aditya that he's hell bent on getting this teenager out of Aditya's clutches (his view). While I don't think it is part of the revenge plan, it does come from an overprotectiveness towards Imlie that he feels. He saw that she was distressed and humiliated and he wanted to prevent her from doing it further when she ran after him.

This assassination of Aditya's character makes me think they are making time for Gashmeer to follow his other projects, temporarily or permanently. I don't see why they would ruin their own main character otherwise. So those rumors may have been true about Gashmeer. And Fahmaan is usually a lead and I don't think they would be taking him (expense-wise) if his character was not going to be major. 4Lions is trying to do a smooth transition, so they don't have to cut the show. Malini however, like all 4Lions villains will outlive and outlast them all because Gul is obsessed with villains who have no shame.
