How is basic decency a higher obligation? Knowingly lying to a person is manipulation. I would totally understand if she keeps quiet about her saving him. But saying Aarohi saved him is LYING. How is 'not lying' an obligation? It's just basic decency expected out of anyone. Lying to save someone 's life and all I understand. Here her lying serves a completely unethical purpose. She is doing it to achieve a certain consequence.

I am the biggest supporter of Akshara. Like she is the only one in the show I am rooting for right now. That doesn't mean I agree with everything she does.

The point I am trying to make is that I would not do what she is doing but I don’t have the same upbringing as her and I can see why her character is doing what she is doing.

My point is also that both Abhi and Akshu are making mistakes that are different but have equally bad consequences. As of now I am able to either find a justification in their characterisation and back history shown or able to hope for a change in track. As of now 🤣

Exactly akshu was just with holding her emotions as still believes in her family and the peace in both families. But very little does she know that both these families will definetly betray her. The flaw of abhi to consider arahi to move on life was a pathetic story writing. He keeps screaming that he loves akshara but for him To consider the sister as a option 🤢 just cause his mom said 😲 writers are just damaging his character. I just hope he doesn't go ahead and say yes to marrying aarohi for the sake of his mother

I would understand if she hides away from taking credit in saving his life. For me, that is consistent with Akshara's character. But her actively and explicitly lying to Abhimanyu kind of creates a similar feeling for me when Manjari does shit. Manipulating in the name of love is toxic.

Yaar, nobody is mad at her for denying her love for family's peace or anything.

It's just that she should not be telling lies along with Aarohi. The man has a right to know.

It's as bad to watch someone get played as much as it is to play them. And no justification she gives can change my stance on that.

Remember that we are saying and feeling all this because we know that Abhi is halfway to moving on to Arohi. That the Birlas, Manjiri and Abhi are giving credit to Arohi for others things Akshu has done. She doesn’t know this especially the first bit. Would she have done the same if she had known?

Yes, atleast I would be feeling the same way. Because as I said earlier before I am not looking at abybody's else's actions or the consequences of Akshara's act itself. What she is doing is wrong in itself. I could find justification for every single thing she did except for this one.

before that phone call AAROHI had already come back with HARSH from the BIRLA house

saying otherwise in front of AAROHI who was present in the room would make AAROHI a liar in front of everyone

Something she deserves but not in Akshus eyes whi has been brought up to always put Arohi first.

Am I the only one who thought Akshu didn't lie today? She said Aarohi saved him in the camp, not that she saved him from the fire. And to be fair, Aarohi did save him in the camp. She was the one who got the oxygen mask and did that whole hand rubbing thing. I know it can't be compared to what Akshu did, but Aarohi still did do something.

Akshu just told him what everyone else at the camp did.

Would it count as a lie by omission though?

AKSHU just omitted her part
