May be I am overreacting but among all the attempts of whitewashing V, this one is the most pathetic🤢

Anuj definitely meant someone else not Anu, when he said ek rishta aur tha. He was mentioning people who are important to him - his parents, one relation and Anu. He delayed in first two, missed his chance and with Anu he doesn't want to repeat same mistake.

Infact, somehow when he said that, i got a feeling that even that relation has passed away. Or maybe he thinks that person is dead and now will come to know that she is still very much alive. ITV so possible and that would justify Anuj's character too.

The call can be from someone related to Aneri and not Aneri herself. So he wasn't keen in receiving it. Probably to inform him she is alive and coming there.

Aneri wont be his daughter cause, she is not so young to play some 18 yrs old. She won't come and stand as business competitor, she can directly move in his house and create havoc there if she wants to.

Aneri has to be some other relation only, step-sister or someone related to GK.
