Is Arohi really the smart one in the family or it Akshara?

We are supposed to think about Arohi as being the smart one of the two. The one who is like Mahima in today’s generation? But in every episode I feel more and more like Akshara is such a cool superstar and Arohi is this half baked pappad. Akshara keeps her family happy, has the smartness to come up with the recording trick in the medical trial, has the courage to face the adversity during the trail…. And today knows how to ride a bike. As Neil said all Arohi knows is to talk big. Actually she’s not good for anything other than bookish knowledge!!!

As a bookish knowledge person myself I’m not looking down on that. Just saying that sometimes society overrated people like that!

AKSHU is bindaas and has substance

Yes she is stupid...I don't like her characterisation at all..she should have been more focused on her career...but she is running behind a man who doesn't love her at all by bunking the assistance in surgery which could have benefitted her in her career...

Initially as everybody told that iche node female leads character is not that great i was really skeptical about her but looks like this season she is the only character we can look forward anytime even in the dull phase of the serial as she radiates such positive vibes when ever she is onscreen and she has a better character Arc till now compared to all other characters except that she is confused between family and love she is an absolute joy and pranali has that light up the screen smile so everytime akshara is happy we all feel good

To be honest I don’t find Akshu cute and innocent at all. She has not given Abhi a moment of cuteness since she met him.

She told him first to bugger off she doesn’t need a lift

Then she told him she didn’t think she would meet him again because she’s here to focus on her family

She popped his big doctor talk to say she believes in home made remedies

When she felt it was the right thing for her family she didn’t speak during the Tilak even not caring about hurting him

She walked into his family and told everyone she didn’t like him because she didn’t want to hurt her sister and family

She defied her family to protect him during his medical trial and came up with a good strategy for it

SHE CAN RIDE A BIKE!

She told hjm to shut up abs air behind her because anyone who think a woman can’t ride as well as a man doesn’t deserve better

There is nothing cute and innocent about this girl. She is kickass alllllll the way!
It is Arohi who is sitting there in a corner, trying to get her way through guilt and blackmail, running after a man who doesn’t like her, compromising her job and career for a man. I don’t think she is cute either but she’s definitely not kickass!

I honestly think this discussion comparing Arohi and Akshara is ridiculous.

Because it's literal ITV trope. Smart, competent ambitious woman will always be put down in favour of the selfless, simple and more traditional woman.

So, I would just look at them only with respect to their actions and none of their characteristics. Like I dislike Arohi because she is vile and I like Akshara because she hasn't really done anything to warrant any kind of hatred.

Because they have already created the binary of Akshara v/s Arohi. There is no scope for deeper analysis here

And for God sake,

Riding a bike is not equivalent to empowerment or strength. It's just another every day normal thing. Stop glorifying unnecessary things. 😆

Also, we are not supposed to think Arohi is the smart one. The makers have literally told us she isn't. Akshara is the strong thoughtful and smart lead, with her street smartness and think on spot talent.

They have already gave everything served on a platter. There is no scope for deeper analysis here.
