I feel like DP has this constant urge to win over (as in defeat) her contemporaries. Katrina, Anushka, Priyanka, Sonam. Don't think it's about the dudes at all, or PC and Sonam make no sense. All attention has to be on DP.

Of course it's a profession chockful of narcissists. They all want attention on them. But DP doesn't seem to care how awkward she looks with stunts like this. Plus, she's clearly successful at it.😆

She might try with Alia, too. But AB is not competing at the same level in beauty or talent. So...

It's mega entertaining for sure.😆

She archived them or hid them from public view, i.e. not deleting but not visible to others.

She has made only her wedding photos visible to everyone once again on Katrina's wedding day. All her other archived posts are still hidden.

When she revamped her Instagram a year or so ago she archived all her old posts. They couldn't be seen anymore which gave her a clean slate. She decided to unarchive them and make them visible...

But I will still try to transfer the knowledge I gathered from this thread. I think DP archived all her wedding related posts (meaning taking out of the public view) and unarchived them suddenly this morning. Therefore she is being accused of trying to steal the thunder from Katrina’s wedding. How? By trying to make people talk about her wedding pictures over Katrina’s(which are yet to make an appearance- forget pictures, we are not yet sure if they were getting married even, but that’s totally another point altogether)

Means, her old posts were hidden and now they are not. Everyone can see them now.

When there’s too many pictures, you have an option of archiving old posts. They won’t get deleted from Instagram but no one will be able to view them. You have an option of unarchiving them later if you want it to be visible again.

Because Deepika is ALWAYS doing shit for attention. This latest move is literally proof of it.

To be fair, selling your wedding pictures isn’t wrong, it’s super common for celebs to do it. If you can make a bunch of free money for that then by all means. Problem with DP is that she always does things out of her own insecurities and pettiness that something as common as selling her wedding pics would look like just another one of her obvious attention grabs and a desperation to remain on top. She’s literally doing that just now with this archiving stunt.

For Kat, who is notoriously private about her life and particularly her relationship with Vicky, it doesn’t come across as a cheap move for her. It comes off as her showcasing her obvious worth (people are paying to see HER with her husband) and her taking ownership of how her life gets viewed.

It’s about consistency and perceptions.

It does come across as cheap. And nope, selling your wedding pics is not taking ownership of how your life gets viewed. It's simply a day out of her whole life. A look at the other threads on her in this forum and elsewhere should tell you what public actually thinks of her, stardom aside.

Also, there is absolutely no question they are all attention seekers and dance at weddings for money. DP simply happens to be more successful at sucking up oxygen in the newsroom. That's it.

I don't have an IG account ..that is why I was confused.....ki what is un-archiving...I know what archiving is😆.....I was like...that once you post a pic on SM it remains there unless you delete it or make ur account private....but IG has this cool feature..I had no idea...😆
