What would have happened with this Shruti angle? Today, we feel bad for Sai, will we feel bad for Pakhi then? Pakhi's basic character traits are same but maybe a bit less evil since Sai won't be present in Virat's life then. However, she would have soon started targetting Shruti. Most probably a single Virat would have married Shruti to take her Zimmedaari, that's where Patralekha starts getting jealous... Will people feel bad for Shruti, a pregnant naxalite being victim of Pakhi didi's vileness.

(NOTE: Regarding Patralekha, please keep aside the Oscar winning acting skills, but the character is same.)

2. I still don't understand why Virat went after Sada or for that matter the terrorists in the shootout in the ousting track, aren't army personnels supposed to do that. And why would DIG want Virat to lead the mission when he knows Virat has a personal agenda... In any case, can a police officer say no to the mission? Could Virat refuse to go at the last moment when he came to know about mission being to kill sada. There would be no guilt, no anti-national activities from his side, shielding the naxalite.

I mean they need drama, hence doing so but really can't digest the ML being a traitor...his professional life is gone down the drain. Could he have declined?

I definitely would not have felt bad for pakhi for simple reasons, if she has someone as life partner in her life than why can't virat have a life partner. Sai or no sai, the main fact is she is married to someone else.

Also, Virat will not be branded as traitor. He is a male lead and that too an IPS. He will be absolved of everything.

Shruti will not be proven as Naxalite.

I used to feel the same that Virat loves his brother too much to go down this path of involving with pakhi ,also I had trust on his loyalty.

But since the anniversary track and now this Shruti track ,I feel that Virat might not be physically involved but emotional involved with pakhi as he was during initial days of their marriage.

I feel that Virat never got a chance to maintain the emotional involvement with pakhi ,because he got married with Sai and then was busy with her ,got attached to her and then fell in love her.

Had virat not married and been single in CN ,then he would have been emotionally involved with her like he was in the initial days of his marriage (late night chats,going to each other's room,giving those longing stares etc).And it would have gone stronger with time.And as I said that they would have genuinely an emotional affair.But as we know virat,he would have never accepted that or married her because in his mind he is always the victim and he is always right....

He is a weak and spineless man ,he has no thoughts of his own basically he depends on other a lot.Falling for a person like (no matter how good he is )

1. Without Sai and Samrat around, Pakhi would have pushed her parents to propose her marriage with Virat (as long as he is single) irrespective of him being in CN or outside. Virat would have married Pakhi happily with family's blessings. So there would not have been a need for EMA. This is why Pakhi was so upset with Sai for 1 year, with Sai around, all her plans of marrying Virat was foiled.

Anyways we would not have watched the show if Virat and Pakhi married, so we wouldn't have had any feelings with or without Shruti.

2. They will not show Virat as traitor. Even if they show him do disgusting stuff now, they will just insert 1-2 lines at the end of the track that it was his plan with DIG all along, thereby negating everything he did in the track.

I'm not sure Virat would stay in his limits if Sai didnt exist. Looking at how he has behaved even in Sais presence, in her absence, if Virat wasnt married and PP was constantly emotionally manipulating him, i think he would have had an affair. Tough to say if he'd gone all out and slept with her - coz he does care about Samrat n having sex would be too much- that would make virat guilty but he would have pursued an emotional affair with things like hand holding, hugging, allowing her to cry on his shoulder, maybe even spend the night in his room because she had "nightmare", going out together to make her feel better, eating dinner together etc etc. I do not believe that Virat could have maintained a respectful distance from pp. Look at how he's behaving with Shruti already. He calls her tum instead of aap, he holds her hand even when not needed, and is getting pretty "familiar" with her far too quickly ....this is a woman who is not even someone he has a past with. I think he does this because he enjoys feeling "wanted" , the guy who is somehow seen as a "protector" and he doesn't maintain clear boundaries of a relationship.

I really don't see Virat as a maryaada purushottam type guy.
