Just a side note I can’t type in the accent that Meet has so just wrote it the way I know best.
Outburst of Emotions
Meet A had just apologized or explained whatever he did in his intoxicated state. As he finished speaking his mind he turned to hear her reply but she just gave him a polite smile and excused herself from the room. He couldn’t understand her at the moment, he can’t even imagine how she must have felt. He thought to go after her or should he give her some space. He decided on giving her space.
On the other hand Meet H walked straight to the garden. Confused with her emotions she could not explain what she is feeling and not finding any other way to vent all these piled up emotions she cried out of frustration and anger.
She thought “Does he really think that apology or whatever that was is enough to make things right or normal between them? How could he think that? Is it just that simple to do whatever you want and explain it in three lines and expect me to be fine with all of it. Because that’s who I am now someone who understand everyone pain but what about my pain?”
She wanted to confront him but at the same time wanted to do nothing with him.
While sitting there with her own inner turmoil with tears falling out of agony she is facing mentally. Walks out the one person she didn’t want to see at all.
It had been an hour or more since she walked out without saying a word. He was getting tensed for her she has had a long night and should take some rest. He decided on going to look for her.
As he walked out towards the garden he saw her sitting there crying but with an emotionless face. But as soon as she realized his presence she wiped away all of her tears.
He just stood there looking at her not knowing what to say or ask her. His guilt was eating him by now. He realized whatever he said up stair didn’t make any difference to the situation. Looking at her in the state that she is right now was not an easy sight. Over the past months he has seen her with many expressions but this was different this looked like someone had given up. She still did not look at him even once.
He said “tumhai aram kar leyna chahiye saari raat ki jaagi hoi hoo”
She just nodes yes again without making any eye contact and gets up to walk back inside passing right by him. He grabs her hand stopping her she turns to look at him but what he saw was anger in her eyes which scared him.
She said “Choro mujhai!”
He let go immediately.
He could not believe she could talk to him this way. It hurt him to see so much anger in her eyes for him. It’s like something broke inside of her, this wasn’t his Meet.
“Mujhai nahi pata mai tumsay kaisay sorry boloon…”
“Toh na bolo naa” she cut him off
“Kuch matt bol, kuch bhi na bol. Bas!”
A tear escaped her eye which she quickly wiped away but it didn’t go unnoticed by Meet A.
“Mujhai samjh k kya rakha hai sab nay. Kay manay kuch feel nahi hota? Mai pathar k bani hoon k rait ki tarhan bekharr nahi sakti. Jis ko dekho, jab dekho dil mai jo aata hai karta hai yeh soch kay Meet hi toh hai samjh ley gi. Aur mai samjh bhi jaati hoon. Mujhai kon samjhay ga? Mana teri mujhse shadi hona teray saath ghalat tha, Didi ka tujhai chor k chalay jaana shadi k din ghalat tha. Maine sab samjh liya but mera kya tu nay samjha? Mai maari nahi jaa rahi thi tujhse shadi karnay k liye, agar yeh shadi tumpay force ki gayi hai toh mujhpe bhi force ki gayi hai. Tu toh shadi karna chahta mujhse na sahi didi se hi sahi par mai toh zindagi mai kabhi shadi hi nahi karna chahti thi. Yeh sab meray liye nahi tha. Mujhai ek alag ghar mai alag mohaul mai, iss unchahay rishtay ko nibhana para. Bar bar teray aur teray parivaar k haathoon beizat hona para. Maine kya kiya muskura k sehti rahi. Meri koi self respect nahi hai? Bachpan se ab tak jo rishta mila uss mai mujhai hi compromise karna para phir wo maa ho, behen ho, dadi ho aur ab pati (she scoffed). Mujhai samjhnay wala kab milay ga? Mujhse ab aur nahi hota yeh sab ab bas aur nahi” She said letting out a cry and covering her face.
He could not see her in this state, not knowing what to do he went with his instincts and hugged her. Hopping this hug will make her realize that he is here, he is here for her, he understands her and that he really truly is sorry.
When he hugged her she hugged him back crying all her heart out finding comfort in his embrace. But when she realized she was hugging him she moved away. He went and got water for her.
“Mai tumse koi vaaday nahi karoon ga, koi bahanay nahi banao ga. Sirf yeh kaho ga k ajj k baad asa na ho iss ki poori koshish karoon ga aur hamesha tera saath doon ga” He said with sincerity
“Mujhai time lagay ga. Mai kuch din k liye maa k ghar jaana chahti hoon… Akelay”
He didn’t want her to leave or to spend time without her but whatever happened he can’t argue with her about this.
He just nodded saying “theek hai jaisay tumhari marzi”.
He now understood what she’s going through and realized that a simple apology wouldn’t fix things, his actions, behavior and effort can make things better now. He’s ready to put in all the effort for his gundi.
