Here’s my take: if they want to call someone out, why just VD? Why not say the same for every single cast member who signed the show? 🤪 Eisha, Puneet, Sonya, etc. It’s not like he forced them to sign. Blame everyone then, if you want to blame, and even after they repeatedly said it’s not like KS. We’ve even seen proof in the episodes itself. And I’ve seen other far more toxic shows on ITV in recent times.

I just don’t understand the thought process sometimes 🤪 and the marketing isn’t helping one bit. Why not go after the writers and producers for making the show? Ugh…rant over 🤔

Personally I do not get the point behind the entire Toxic vs Healthy debate. It is,at the end of the day,fiction. Fiction comprises of multiple genres with a wide range of characters. Not all content will be suitable for all sections of the audience. Individual preferences are bound to differ which is why I believe everyone deserves to consume the content that appeals to them. But over usage of the term "toxic" even in cases where it isn't applicable is nothing more than an attempt to police creativity and dictating what others should and shouldn't like. And what's even weirder is that most people don't jump into the toxic train because they have want to criticize in a constructive manner. They do it in order to gain clout and exercise their vendetta against actors they don't like for Lord knows what reason. I do not consider them worth engaging with because you cannot wake someone who is merely pretending to sleep.

That being said,Sirf Tum has it's fair share of characters with problematic traits but they have been duly called out for it,ironically,by the one who is being treated as the scapegoat by both the marketing team and social media : Ranveer. He has his issues but they definitely do not qualify as "toxic". He held his father accountable for cheating on his mom,supports his sister for taking over the family business and wants to create a name for himself in a field where he can be of help to the needy ones away from the shadow of his father. But the Twitterati will conveniently ignore these points for they have no idea about what goes on in the show in the first place.
