Just watched Parmanu: the story of pokhran. Same situation: IAS husband is caught with a colleague in a hotel (he is not supposed to be there) by wife, accused of what else and what not. The situation is somewhat similar if not the same.

See, here they are not framing him or anything, nor is he getting caught by his wife, who is very understanding. But his own dumbness is making him get framed in all this. At present, I am not that itchy about him kind of cheating his wife, somewhere might be excused but I am more disappointed that they are kind of promoting anti-nationalism in prime-time slot.

Also, the level of IQ (or EQ) shown is so less, he makes such dumb decisions being an IPS officer, that it's irksome. The entire serial is a collection of Virat's impulsive mistakes, in the form of vaada, zimmedaari and what not. Sometimes, an ML can be expected to be a bit responsible, which he is never shown.

Agree with you. An IPS officer cannot be this dumb, irresponsible, impulsive. Forget family matters, where he allows people to walk over him, this is professional domain.
