Part 16

It was late night, all were sleeping so he just picked her in arms to their room and threw her in bed….

Rest was the night of passion

Maan and Geet had a long night .Maan had been very upset with himself as how could he behave like that with Geet.

“I am sorry.. How could I” he had kissed her whole face, seeking forgiveness

“Maan please… ” she cupped his face, “you have all rights on me” She kissed him everywhere on his bare front “I know you are upset. You have to send me. It as much tough for you as me… don’t I know”

She paused “And I placed all blame on you”

He brought her closer “How will I stay without you in these months I don’t know. You really are my strength”

This way they had all emotional outburst in talks and passionate love making. They drifted to sleep very late in night.

Morning the sun rays fell on Maan’s eyes and he opened his eyes to check the time, still in sleepy state.

It was 8 am. His eyes then fell on Geet. Ohh the sunrays were troubling her. He shifted bit up by placing his head on his hand and stopping the sunrays to reach her face and disturb her sleep. She was wrapped with him in same sheet and bare like him. He smiled and kissed her forehead.

Ohh what had he done do get this princess to himself. It was now so hard to send her for two months but he cannot be selfish. She on her own will sacrifice everything for him but he in no case can let her sacrifice her education.

He got up, covered her nicely with quilt. Wore his track and vest. He came out of room after freshening up in his black inner vest and tracks and slightly closed the door of the room as Geet was sleeping. He was in no mode to wake her up early. He is going to pamper her whole day and then send her.

But the moment he reached the hall of his haveli he was not surprised to see Mohinder pacing to and fro.

“You” Mohinder shouted at the very sight of Maan. That was expected to Maan. He smiled at Mohinder and asked his Bhabhi for tea. As he has started taking charge, authority automatically came from him on the free dwellers. Mohinder was surprised by the change in attitude of Maan. His elder cousin, who was already having tea, cribbed within as Maan kind of ordered his wife but he could not voice it.

“Maan” said Mohinder angrily “Yes sir”

“Don’t you know why I am here. Or you were already prepared for breaking your promise.”

“Maan Singh Khurana never breaks his promise Sir”

Mohinder laughed in taunting way “Maan Singh Khurana??” You are trying to sound as big as Mohinder Handa. It’s a big name boy.

“I just called out my name sir. Never realized before it will sound such heavy to you” Mohinder could say nothing. But the pride that Maan was showing was irking him.

“Anyways, I am not here for you. The person of my least interest.”Maan smiled back irking him further

“Where is my daughter. She was supposed to leave with me some ½ hour before this to catch flight for Delhi”

“Ohh, you didn’t tell us the time sir” Maan said trying to sound innocent “Ohh really, now you, you a lower grade employee is expecting me to tell you my itinerary”

Maan took tea and snack from his Bhabhi “Bhabhi, did you offer anything to sir”

His cousin, who was other person irked from Maan “Yes she did but Sir is not taking anything”

Maan turned to Mohinder “My wife can only leave with you by evening. She has packing to be done and other things that she need to wrap up”

“What other thing? Where is Geet?” “Sir she is sleeping, let’s have breakfast. You will love the typical Punjabi Breakfast”

Mohinder was so done with Maan’s casual talk. He just got up and proceeded to move towards Maan’s room to directly wake up Geet. He was so furious with Maan’s confidence. He was not yet able to digest that his Daughter’s Bodyguard was talking on level with him.

Maan ran to stop him and reached door of his room

“Sir Please stop. Other than your daughter she is also married woman now” Mohinder understood what Maan was trying to say and he felt disgusted. Had Geet been married to any person of his own stature he would have not even imagined to take his step to her room. But here it was indigestible to him that Geet was leading a fully married life with this man who was her bodyguard.

Mohinder moved back “Sir, please take a seat. I will send her. You please relaxand have some breakfast, she will be here in some while.”

Maan then lovingly woke Geet up, giving her several kisses. She will be gone today for about 2 months and he wanted to pamper her to full. Also, he wanted to do all to compensate his sudden anger yester night.

Geet smiled and hugged him tight byplacing her hands around his neck “Don’t wanna go” she made baby face and kissed him on his cheek.

“Wake upor your Dad gonna kill me with his anger” “And anyways, I am not letting you go before evening.” Gee later gathered herself to get p with heavy heart and got freshen up to meet her Dad.

Maan then got busy packing her bags. He was not going to let her do anything today.

Later Geet met her Dad. But before that she went to Savitri to take her blessings. Mohinder was really not liking this. How Maan has changed his high class daughter to middle class person. And off course her giving so much importance to Maan’s mother.

Geet definitely did not have very pleasant conversation with her Dad as all he did in each sentence was to show Maan down. But as Maan would get upset of her answering back to her father, she kept her calm. Later she made him do breakfast and send him off.

“I will reach your hotel in the evening. You had so much trouble in my house Dad, sorry for that.”

“Geet I am your Dad, your own” Geet said nothing as she wanted to spend rest of her day with Maan in calm.

Later Maan and Geet spent the day, pampering each other. They then joined Savitri Devi and trio spent their own small family time. And then Maan dropped Geet to hotel.

Geet just hanged to Maan. Her heart was so so heavy. As if her legs would not move away from him. It was even tough for Maan. He felt his life was going away from him. But if he would get weak at this moment, it would be tough to handle Geet. Geet then left as their eyes never left each other till the lift door open and she went inside.

both maan n geet are not happy for geet's going away but maan knows it is necessary

mohinder all the time insulting maan which geet dint like but keep quit for maan as he dint like answering back to elders
