I think you are right..especially there are aesthetic shots of her bangles and his ring multiple times..

while sleeping in the garden.. his wedding band finger near her bangles…

then when her saree got stuck in his watch.. there was a low angle shot where her bangles and his wedding band is shown..

so yeah this signifies his relationship..

one more thing that I observed that when he hit the man and bruised his hand .. he injured his right hand in which he wore the ring at that time.. which signifies his pain due to Manushi..there may be any relevance or not but yeah I was a little curious.. that whether in future are they going to address about the ring.. but apparently not..
