Also, in the precap aired on Friday, Karan said a line that he has failed as a mentor that was edited out of the episode. I'm pretty sure that it was something related to Karan talking about Pratik playing this fake mentor card with him but actually treating him as shit. It's getting more and more obvious that Pratik is being highlighted in a particular manner and the BB 15 contestants (Teja, KK and Umar) are being put down in some way or the other.

I am going to disagree slightly here. To me it seems (I didn’t even see episodes btw) that almost everyone here agrees across fandoms that teja shined in all tasks this week. She hasn’t been guilty of bad words or violence etc and frankly been nice to a fault (which even frustrates her fans). Umar while playing good has made more mistakes in terms of aggression etc. so if I was to pick one of top 3 (between Umar / KK / Teja) - I think teja prolly is more deserving of 3 to win in terms of cleanliness of game and also tasks etc.

The makers tried their level best, or rather worst to portray Teja as negative and to have Teja v Shamita. This didn't happen, but still whatever little possible they get their hands on, they keep trying to portray Teja negative and insecure about Shamita.

Inspite of all odds, Teja is actually getting better and better week after week. Last to last week she got lot of appreciation for handling the PC, this week for the tasks and also her independent stand against karan n Umar. So now the only option left for the makers is to sideline and ignore her. Now they just want her to be a prop for karan.

I hope they show him say that line about mentor in tomorrow's episode. Because honestly the kind of language Pratik has used on the show for his "mentor" will put any mentor to shame and self doubt about his mentor ship skills. For a change, Im liking Karan's way of dealing with Pratik. Him not stooping down to his level even when he is spewing venom openly...the way he abused him yesterday and even during the pani puri task..Karan's stand is actually looking quite dignified. He is coming across as the bigger person.. The way he talked about Prince Narula despite of being an industry senior, shows that he is not an insecure person at all.. and that puts to rest the absurd theory that he would be jealous and insecure of someone like Pratik who still has a long long way to go before he can be even capable of any comparison.

Isn't the whole mentor-mentee thing being stretched too much? Haven't ever watched any of these MTV shows, but is it really such a big deal, equating it to the guru-shishya concept?

Bottom line is both are actors and I suppose it's not like the mentor takes someone personally under their wings. It's just the concept of the show, I presume and hence it's the creative heads who would be having inputs both for the mentor n mentee.

Yes. Karan shouldn't stoop down to that level. Let Pratik keep barking for attention 🤣🤣 This Karan is insecure of Pratik shit is the most hilarious thing I've read in a while. Pratik had said this line in the first week of the show to Nishant and it's very clear that this is a narrative he wanted to build upon right from Day 1 to further his chances in the game. I doubt it will be shown in the main episode because biased editing is something that this season has aced😆

Yes. This mentor-mentee thing is over stretched. I'm sure that both of them were operating as per a given script. Pratik is making it sound as if Karan took him under his wings for his personal work😆This particular angle was caught on by Pratik in the first week of the show when he was telling Nishant that KK might be feeling so weird that he was my mentor and now I'm on the same show as his competitor. Kal toh Karan ne bol bhi diya ek baar ek I was hosting the show. Mentorship toh Pratik ka angle hai to create this rivalry for himself on the show.
