I think Teja is cooking because if you're in the kitchen and do not cook, then you are bashed heavily, just see previous season. Her point has been i'll do my basic duty but Pratik is like I will make chai.

Nishant dedh shaana is not in the kitchen only so its easy for him to say all that because all he is doing is cleaning and stuff toh itna attack bhi nahin hoga.
