It was my fav show out of the very few ITV shows that I have watched till date.. and it was the only show I watched from start till end 😌

I actually liked the family drama too lol.. it was one of the few shows which did drama right.. it was interesting to watch and fun too at times.. I especially loved Sheila mami(god she was a fun negative character lol) , govardhan mama who had some amazing dialogues (uff loved the way he used to give it back to the Diwans 🤣👏), Avantika , Preity maasi.. the show had some really amazing characters apart from the leads. IMO it was a perfect blend of family drama and romance ..which is quite rare on ITV. And the show had a modern look , feel and approach.. The Diwans looked really classy and gave the feel of the rich and affluent people of Mumbai ⭐️ . It was a rare show with almost zero regressiveness in its storytelling.

The only time I hated it or rather was disappointed in it was when they killed off Pankhuri.. 🤪 And on top of that they slowly made Aisha become like Pankhu uggh it was torturous to watch.

But all in all I totally loved the show with all its characters . ⭐️

And yes PaYa were such a cuteeee couple ❤️ They were so childlike innocent ! And now they have come back as mature and cute! 😆❤️

When people talk about Nandini now for her style quotient like suave Sakshi Goenka, I'm reminded of Avantika too, though she was never negative, she was this new age mom, and very relatable.

Avantika was a very well written character. Just loved her!

Her character growth and arc was superb!

Nandini is okay but no where as stylish as Avantu though😆 and Nandini also isn't that well written a character.. her motives and actions seem off sometimes.. imo ..

in pkdh vahan Adi was a kid in balhs2 yahan bhi Ram is a kid😆 Diff year diff show diff channel but bachpana still there 😆 Just that here Ram is more mature after.

I may consider watching some epi of PKDH during my holidays(only for NaSha)

@bold. Uff that would be amazing. I so love Mansi Salvi! So beautiful so classy and such a fab actress!! She was by far the most stylish MIL on tv during PKDH days. But in BALH 2, now that Nakuul looks older and not like a kid like he used to during PKDH😆, will Mansi suit the mom's role? 🤔

I too would really love it if Mansi plays Ram's mom. PKDH mein bhi she looked quite young only😆 but Nakul bhi bohot young dikhta tha❤️ if she comes nostalgia ke liye hi dekh lungi main🤪

but I doubt she will take it unless that character is quite strong and has a substantial role to play in the story. The actress usually chooses strong and well written characters

Totally agree. Nandini is not a well written character, but a typical stepmom turned Villain. She is getting annoying these days, especially today's episode 😒. The outrage and frustration if Ram is developing feelings for Priya, man she sounded like a possessive ex lover and not a stepmother.🧐🥴 And the way she was asking for details, way over the top.

Wow discussing the show and the amazing characters is making me nostalgic

Only recently after BALH2 started I caught up with a few PaYa oriented episodes, the show's quality and progressive content with strong women characters was very appreciable.

But let's stick to Balh2 and PriRa for now. Or else Mods might give a warning asking us to stick to the current show 😆
