So I didn’t know cooking before marriage, learned to cook only rice. Got married, came to the US within a week after that, didn’t know anything. My husband cooked for me for a week ( he is an awesome cook, still is, loves cooking) , then slowly learned to cook. I would spend hours on the phone with her to India and simultaneously cook while talking. Our phone bills used to be $250. This was almost 20 years ago, when the world was still on dial-up internet connection, no SM sites, no youtube, no smart phones😆

When my husband got the first phone bill that was $250, he was shocked and couldn’t say much as we were newly married, home sick, later he got used to it every month😆

Now I am an expert in many dishes but use youtube for special items😆

I have few old EDT members that have moved to TT and IG and I still chat with some of them on IG on a daily basis, and they are all young like you all. My advice to them is to find somebody like KD❤️ not Shiva but KD😆

My mum's the same way Akka... Remember that OG scene with kadala paruppu sambar? That was her post marriage... But she'd observed enough of people cooking that it was just a matter of her trying to actually cook.... Still uses YouTube for special dishes though..

The college I'm in doesn't have good looking guys atleast... Most medical colege guys only start to look amazing during CRRI year, till then, they look, bad. The end. Atleast, that's my experience so far... 😆

Waiting for my take? I wrote extensively during and after the LU😆

In a nut shell loved the episode except Anita-Gaumbi scene. Now she is annoying and irritating like how Disha used to be and getting too much screen space. She was so good during the wedding time, turned her positive, thought about pairing her with Hardik. Now I don’t want her for Hardik as he deserves better.

Loved so many things about ShiVi scene, DevTa scene, all 4 of them in the kitchen, family trying to cheer up Dhara, last scene of bahu gang where Raavi abd Rishita are emotional and asking Dhara to let it out❤️
