Ok finally done catching up on the last 3-4 epis.....lol....and the few notable things for me:
1) These few epis ramped up Imlie's yearning for Adi after the many previous epis showing her focused more on her anger with him......lol they showed many moments of her defaulting to thinking about him every other second - whether it was about him teaching her what the byline of an article is, whether it was to tell that ASR ki Adi BHEED nahin hai....lol....whether it was to randomly include him in her "Beghar Imaliya" song😆, whether it was to go clean his desk the moment she got to the office or it was to ultimately sleep under his very desk all night.....she finds sukoon and comfort around anything attached to him - that is the ultimate truth....even if her hurt is bigger than her ability to reconcile to that truth right now.
2) Conversely, by the time Imlie reached this point of now wanting to show her yearning for him more directly, he reached the point of holding back more after being slammed and taunted many times by her😆......so mistiming continues to be on between these two idiots.....lol.....
The best moment of the week has to be that brief convo they had at his cubicle about the article being on the front page....what a multi-layered scenario after many days of shitty predictable writing from this team.....lol......here we had an Adi grappling with the mixed feelings of being proud of her article but feeling so off-balance about whether he even has the right to talk to her candidly about her article, her work as he usually does. That is what jumped out the most to me in that scene.....an Adi feeling so utterly off balance.....lol bahut upset hai ki Imlie se apne mann ki baat kahega toh woh galat samjhegi....he had a smile on his face watching everyone in the office gushing over her article but as soon as he got to his desk, he went into his usual no-nonsense mode and told that other guy to focus on his own work so that his article is also able to make it to the front page😆. If this was really about some petty jealousy of Imlie's work, he would be filled with resentment about his own article being usurped....but that really isn't the issue despite editor bhaiyya determinedly adding Psycholini ka FB there with flashing lights.....it's getting comical TBH cuz it doesn't remotely match with Adi's expressions😆.....it's kinda like GM ne bol diya hai ki this is how I'm gonna play it and editor bhaiyya is still determined to make something out of it when nothing exists😆.
I LOVED that charged moment when Imlie taunted him ki why are you passing all these indirect comments, himmat hai toh mujhse directly puchho what issues you have about the article....and he fires back with that immense hurt in his eyes ki ek sawaal puccha tha and usse humari zindagi hi badal gayi......lol....man the HURT that shines through in that moment - fabulous stuff from GM to be able to make something of these scenes even when he's getting such limited content to work with👏.
Bottom line is ki baaki sab smokescreens hain....these two are BADLY missing each other😆.....yeh sab bakwaas hurt mein nikal raha hai over not being able to feel that sense of security about each other ki main kuch bolun toh woh galat samajh legi/lenge😆....I really didn't get the sense that Adi thinks Imlie is currying favor with that loser ASR.....it's not the typical jealousy despite how people are looking to paint it😆
Also had to ROFL at Editor Saab popping in to admonish them ki couples ke saath kaam karna kitna mushkil hai cuz they start fighting in the office😆.....it still gave that vibe ki it's a marital tiff......lol not some permanent break up. Not that it will stop M or that ASR from paaloing illusions about the status of Adilie's rishta.....lol
3) Ts so far still consistent on missing Imlie and praying for her to come back😆.....but yeh scenario kabhi bhi palat sakta hai.....haha that said, I did like Imlie ka brief scene with Aparna-Radha at the mandir.
Rest aaltu-faaltu slow motion bakwaas and chindi plotting I forwarded.....deffo easier to finish Imlie epis this way.....full 20 minutes waste bhi nahin karne padte....thank you for the time savings, makers ji😆
