I think everything was connected to mandar track except sunny character. He was forcefully added. Pallavi past , how ved was the connecting link between raghav and mandar , how ved knew mandar ,everything was linked with mandar. After that krishna Rao would have emerged as the biggest and main villain connecting all the dots.

you know what I actually feel bad for Sai. He was actually promised a don role and he really wanted to play it too.In one of his earlier IVs he said that he watched amitabh bachchan Agnipath to prepare for his role of Raghav Rao.He actually worked hard for the don role

But in actual show he got minimum chance to show what a don can do and what are his unprecedented powers and that too it was during pre marriage. After marriage it was literally nil. A man doesn't become don by smuggling. He has to do many think unforgivable things like killing , fighting gang wars , playing smart mind tricks. But makers never explored this lifestyle of Raghav character and Sai hard work got wasted.
