I don’t know Karthik or Naitik so cannot do a comparison but I really like Anhimanyu’s portrayal of a doctor. His voice and bedside manner is well done. Even the way he spoke to the Goenkas in the hospital is almost sexy in how competent he sounded. I also like the way charming way he behaved during the trip.
I particularly liked the flirting after that trip and the very gentle way he spoke to Akshu during the Tilak. It was not at all aggressive or intimidating. I noted it when I was watching the episode and then rewatched it just now after reading this to see if I had imagined that gentleness.

If I were to criticise it would be the whole taking her home thing but I am putting that down to his desperation because he also subconsciously knows she will reject him for her sister.

I also like that even after she has rejected him, while he has decided to cut her off form his life, he’s not gone into misunderstanding her mode. He doesn’t think of her as being bad etc - the typical track. He knows her and knows why she did it. He just wishes she hadn’t put him last.

Definitely not getting the intimidating wierdo vibes….

When S2 starts hina was there they give time to develop kathik and naira story’s as people were still watching for akshara and natik, the problems in the start of Kaira story’s was always solved by Akshara and natik until people started accepting them which took months.

In this S3 everything was new so they have to add drama on high level soon so that people will be still interested in the show. The shows who run for so long it becomes habit to people to watch the show if you change characters and slowly will develop story. people will stop watching and will effect TRP.

Does itv even have good writing currently? Anupama to some extent does but if they run Abhira story slow trp would go away because itv trp audience wants drama. This is no new show which can be given time, it will shut down in 1-2 months if that's the case even in the bengali version this show is inspired from the ML fell in love at a similar speed.

Akshu & Aarohi are being characterised as normal women. So it's making Abhi's intensity even more unnatural. I feel zero connect with him. He's nowhere close to how engaging unmarried Kartik was. So won't even invoke Naitik because that was in a whole different league

Season 2- Naira and Kartik story started when she was a runaway. Kartik was smitten by Naira from day one. But her being a orphan and aggressive girl kept Kartik at bay infact he gelled with Akshara during the Haridwar episode.

Also remember that Naira was a runaway teenager when they met and he had just got a job and living as a paying guest since he had left his house in anger.

They had a diffrent story and growth accordingly.

Season 3- Is about a coy, reserved girl Akshara whose one passion is music. She is a girl who keeps all her thoughts and feelings bottled up and wants her family to be happy. A motherless girl who wants her family to love her especially her younger sister who has blackmailed her into a guilt trip for a lifetime. And the family has done nothing to help her.

Akshara does not trust anyone with her emotions. Since childhood she has witness how her family treats the loud Arohi. She already knows that Arohi's behavior must not be encouraged yet her family treats her and Arohi the same way even when Arohi starts every argument.

Kairav is trying to create a balance and doing a bad job at it.

Abhi comes across as a no nonsense person. He is attracted to Akshara even before he has seen her. The connection is on ethereal level. Like Shyam ki basuri.

Fact is that Abhi meets Arohi first since she hits his bike. But he does not even look at her. He cares a hoot about who hit his bike. He is a man who is only concerned with his own work, own life. He does not even care to chide the person who hit his bike.

But he is immediately affected by a girl who comes to the hospital for breathlessness even without seeing her face.

He is already invested in this emotion at the same time he wants to run away from the emotion that voice makes him feel.

So on the trip, for him to hear the voice and meet the person with the voice is already a dream come true. And what he sees is so pleasing that he wants to explore what he is feeling.

Akshara is shown smitten when he says that being simple is harder.

Someone had taken her side instead of the topper Arohi.

When he asks her to sing she is reminded of the Doc in the hospital and Abhi catches that emotion passing through her face.

And she actually asks him how she sang- That s straight flirting hint.

And Akshara was the one to start the Methi joke as she was leaving the cafe and she turned twice to look at Abhi which gave him the straight forward cue that the mating game is on.

Rest is all situational and for the next 3 days he has ample opportunity to witness the cuteness and kindness of this shy and quiet girl. She is drawn to him every time they are trying to find an opportunity to be next to each other. Abhi is a heart surgeon, experienced, sharp and he notices that everytime he looks at akshara and calls her name she responds. He is surprises by it himself. But when she responds to his unsaid words he is emotions are unleashed. He is unable to leave her alone after that point and thats when we see him waiting for her early in the morning waiting for her to come before breakfast. And sure enough she senses him.

How many proves does he need to acknowlege that this is the girl who is meant for him simple, ordinary, careless, clumsy however she is it does not matter to him. She is meant for him and he is meant only for her.

Just like Abhi I accept truth once proven. Akshara rejected him and he accepted.

But what is he supposed to do with all the feelings and memories? He is still working hard at his job and what else is he suppose to do?

His family adores and respects him immensely. And now we are getting more glimpses of that.

our thoughts are quite similar. Well explained. Only thing I feel could have been made much better was to where he brought her home without informing her or her family. The reason why she is going to be taken and what is expected out of her. Had he cleared it outside things would have messed up this level. As you said, I liked how he was quick in getting her out of his life in the sense by addressing and treating her formally, by staying unaffected with her personal life decisions. Feelings and memories are infinite and you cannot turn them down after loving someone intensely. Abhi has justified his brought up, his family name, his profession and all above his words on the tilak day,

“Main koi gali ka gunda ya mawali nahi hoon.” There stands my boy.

Naitik was typical husband of arrange marriage very very close to real life husband🤣 hmesha muh fula rehta tha shaadi ke baad bina kisi baat ke...poor wife usse samaj nhi aata tha ki uska mood off kyun hain😒🙄😏.

But what is wrong in it cant people fall in lo mve at first sight and here he knew the girl loves him so he fell deep.
